For the glowing eyes I used two different layers. The first layer goes above everything and has the white outline and fill for his eyes. The second layer has a softer brush and a lower opacity. I used a mouse and outlined the eye with it.
For Kuro. I draw the shape of the eye. Add the black pupil, fill the eye red, fill the pupil black, add another layer, use any light color (In this case white) and draw on the shine effect in the eyes.
Hope that helps. ^_^
But oh well. This is awesome as always :)
5/5 Hope to see more of D.M.
Great job on this. And, are they on a beach?
Also, love the colours of D.M. The placing of the black and white, and his teeth in that panel, in my opinion was brilliantly done.
I'm always happy to give good feedback to those that deserve it. (:
I say good eye, and taste because you can point out key details that others overlook.
...sorry about that. anyway the vibei get from this picture being a scene on a beach leads me to believe something happened at one peaceful moment in his life to create such a being, and in doing so the peace takes the form of a beach and the sunset, then end of that peace...this the darkness exists there...constantly reminding one of just how quickly things can get out of hand.....if i got the wrong interpritation let me know...all the same i do like this page Kuro, very nicely done.
Your interpretation is very interesting. It's part right and part wrong. I won't go into too much detail on that though. For the sake of not spoiling the story.
:3
i try to see...different things. journals i write are proof enough as it is.
but i like to try to interpret not just what i see but try to understand what it stands for in cases like this.
though im now interested in this panning out.
We, as a person, are just the grey in between.
At one point, one side full of malice, hatred and sadness.
The other, hope, pride and valor.
The one in the middle is you, the person in existence.
Often, we lean towards each side, for depending upon what mood we are in.
The key word here is "why".
The most important question in general most of the time.
if we are constantly treated with hate and misunderstanding we begin to embody darkness, something thats commonly misunderstood. yet if we are treated fairly and how we wish to be treated we begin to embody more of the light.
perfect balance often means putting up with both sides of ourself. our hatred and sadness is our way of being displeased with something in general. and courage and hope and pride are often ways of showing our willingness to live in the light given to us. theres many theorys...im just listing the way it makes best sense to me really.
in the end thats all we can do: believe in our own point of view until we are proven its time to change that view
