She's forgetting not all humans are the same.

Tina's mom needs to relax and realize how important Ray is to her daughter, and realize he is a good man who would never hurt Tina.

We're beginning a very long story with this one....

Some very complex and interesting circumstances. Sort of a perfect storm of conditions.

People change Tina's mom. They were speciesist, but they are beginning to change their ways. Just give them the chance to be something new, something better.

It may be a long and painful journey, though.

I mean i could even understand her hating most humans, especially if she knows they would have mistreated her, but hating everyone is just sad :'(

It IS sad; in fact anyone whose life is controlled by their prejudices is sad.

After the incident that gave us Tina, I can understand her feelings. It's going to be a long hard road before she will accept Ray and their marriage.

Indeed; I expect that to be the case.

The mind and how it remembers things is pretty interesting. Things change, so no one remembers it the same way, much less how time changes them.

True. What we see, what we remember, what touches us, what hurts us is totally unique. You'd think these two are from different planets.
