Trianii as a culture actually tend to see clothing as being optional, at least when it comes to the common men and women. Syrra, however, was born to nobility, where robes are considered a symbol of status and high upbringing. These robes reflect the dedication to the ideals of the Jedi Order; they are not made of expensive silks or material, but humble (yet very comfortable) threads of simple colors, and are ideal attire for a newly-appointed Jedi Knight.

As a former Trianii Ranger, she made an oath to be of service to her people; as a Jedi, her oath extends to any who need her healing paws in peace, or her blade in combat.
