Ppalgang, or Seong Hung-jul (which is hir proper name) is a sub-assistant-manager at a high class, high security military hotel in a former Vietnam National Park. Shi is from South Korea. Many tourists have difficulty with hir name, which means Redstripe (of the Star clan), so shi generally goes by the name Ppalgang (the Korean adjective for red) at the hotel, though many just call hir Pal.
Shi lives at the hotel with hir mates Kathrine (a micromousemorph who goes by Kitty), and Dawping (a bunnymorph hermaphrodite).

I was writing in Ivorykat.tumblr.com and figured we have seen Chakats in the Americas, in Europe, in Australia, and I think in Africa, but I hadn't seen any Asian chakats. So when Thorn had a stop for hir Worlds Tour in Asia shi decided to try hugging this random chakat desk clerk. That night, I dreamed of the clerk going back to hir room and talking with hir mate about how strange it was getting hugged by such a nervous four-armed kat celebrity. I saw hir front being black, and that shi had a red line going down hir body in a weird way, so I named hir RedStreak. Then I found a RedStreak and a RedStripe already existed in the community, so figured I would use the name in Korean.

Some may remember I wrote a story about Pal and Kitty picking plants around the base. That came quite some time after I created this.
