Announcing: Hello Again: Dockboy and Greaser. An Idea I have for an RPG. Its very early in development, and I work on it on and off.
>What is it?
An idea for an RPG I have, titled "Hello Again: Dockboy and Greaser."
"Hello Again: Dockboy and Greaser" is about two childhood friends, Charlie (A sheal) and Cass (A human male), who become separated following the collapse of society. Twelve years later, Cass returns to Avalon to find the island divided between two factions: The descendants of the sheals and humans of Avalon, and the grown-up members of an all-boys school known as Teskonet. The two factions are at an uneasy peace, thanks to Teskonet supplying Avalon with battle amplifiers (think Kids Next Door power armor) and lingerie. That all changes as soon as Cass arrives. Now, his uncle is taken captive by Avalon, Cass has to work with Charlie as well as their other friend Hortense (A southern shark, think a walking codfish) to find the Garden of Kessuin.
>Mechanics?
RPG Mechanics-wise, battle amplifiers provide an active bonus to characters, granting them unique attacks and defensive abilities. Meanwhile, Lingerie provides passive abilities for the whole group, mainly stat bonuses to charisma and healing.
>Gameplay?
Gameplay-wise, I'm thinking pokemon style RPG along with a minigame where you repair objects, such as burgers, boat engines, and assault rifles.
>But how far along are you with this game?
I have... concept art and the story plotted out. This is in the earliest stages of a project. It's not going to be done for at least a year, mainly because I have to go on a year-long hiatus in May. But I wanted to introduce the setting now so I can drop things here and there as I update and finish my other comics.
