Don't Tread On Me.

I was cleaning Victor's tank(the snake's house, not my comrades T-72.) and needed to place him somewhere that he could entertain himself, without getting into trouble. My chair was a convenient perch, and so happened to also have my rifle on it, awaiting cleaning.

Saw this because SF recommended it to a related picture. It makes me chuckle, because I had a teacher who kept her snake in a bathroom, and had to remove the handles on all the faucets because Bill, the snake, would crawl over them and twist them, turning on the water. If it was hot, he'd scald himself, and if it was cold, he could go dormant in the temperature drop and drown. To that end, I hope the safety was on, on that rifle!

Snakes can be very mischievious in that way, but loveable none the less. The safety was on, and there was no round in the chamber.

Yes, they can! I'm not comfortable in the immediate presence of snakes myself, but I do enjoy their beauty from a comfortable distance or behind glass, and Victor is quite lovely.
