its a series based in spiritual creatures that fight for a goal.
humans make "contracts" with them, and control their powers with a "drive".
the main characters are : Riku, Yuuma and Massaomi
they control the spirits or shikigamis: Byakko no Kogenta, Byakko no Rangetsu and Seiryuu no Kibachiyo.
But I do like it. It looks nice.
almost all shikigamis love to fight, some do with honor, others in dirty ways, Toubee is in the dirty way ones... (sometimes blocking or attacking another shikigamis whoa already busy with another enemy )
but imho, it seems to depend in the toujinshi that makes the contract with them.. poor toubee always had evil partners, Majoroba in the manga, and then a "heaven style hunter" of the Earth style in the animee.
