"We had an alarming number of dry days this past month...so much so that the natives had even made comment about the strange climate. However, after being trapped in my tent after a week's worth of solid rain, both myself and the forest around me seemed to delight at the sight of the sun. I'm happy to document that not but a stones throw from our encampment, I found some intriguing flowering vines...that and I'm enjoying having a fully dry pair of socks. If only for the time being..."
