1938 Stock
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Built by the Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Company (BRC&W) and Metro-Cammell, the 1938 Tube Stock included a number of key advances in technology for underground trains. As some of the last units built before the outbreak of World War II, these trains operated throughout the war and through the decades afterward, running on many London Underground lines, including the Bakerloo Line until their retirement in 1988.
