Nikon DX VR AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G II: While I generally prefer my Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED lens for its ability to capture distant subjects and blend out backgrounds, the Nikon 18-55mm lens is well-suited for architectural photography like this. The wider field of view at 18mm allows for capturing more of the structure and its surroundings in a single frame, making it ideal for documenting larger subjects or landscapes where context is important. Although this lens feels cheaper compared to my preferred telephoto lens, it excels in situations where you need to include more of the scene and maintain sharpness across the entire frame.
