Strange building
Coznaxnin was holding his rifle on his back while wearing the best armor available for a gootraxian soldier like him.
Coznaxnin with his comrades have boarded the small thermal airship after being told that the weather is favourable. The flight itself was uneventful. However when the rather well disguised entrance came to view, it was clear that landing would not be smooth. Tenlachmic was the one controling the airship and did his best to land on the mountainous terrain without destroying the airship. The wooden bottom was scratched quite deeply by the igneous rock of the moutain but it was fine in the end.
All four of them disembarked and walked up to the entrance, while Tenlachmic anchored the airship, so wind won't move it away. The big door was closed shut.
"I think it is operated by keycards but it looks rather old, i think we can break through it by brute force!" Tonuimil stated as he clentched his paws into fists.
"Looks like we have no other choice without explosives, so let's get to it!" said Tenlachmic, punching the door with his paws. The others followed after him. They did this for most of the day. They were exhaused but they made a hole just big enough to fit through without armor.
Stripped, Tenlachmic quickly moved inside, confirming there was no danger inside he returned to the door.
"Guys have a look! There seems to be a portal gate of some sorts but doesn't work! There is some other equipment in there but it's in ruins." he said.
They all hed a look inside and since they were exhaused from punching a hole in the door, they fell asleep inside the strange building.
When they woke up they decided to leave and report their findings. Barely fitting through the door, they put their armor back on and walked to the parked airship. Embarking they flew back to a Fequm airport. The wind wasn't that favourable this time and they landed not far from where they wanted to land.
They reported their findings to their military supervisors. Who dispatched a demolotionist and a researcher to investigate the strange building with broken portal gate.
After a lot of work, the ponies assigned to the task mabaged to get the portal gate to work, it didn't look like it was designed by a pony or kirin. So getting it to work took a lot of effort.
With the portal gate working again, it was time to find out what was on the other side. There hed to be something importan.
It was decided to send a team of gootraxians with various exploration tools. These tools included pickaxes, axes, lamps, ropes and low yield explosives. This was because the first brave pony to walk through found out that this portal gate leads into a cavern in an unknow location.

Arriving on the other side of the portal gate, the expedition finds itself inbetween caverns. Going deeper, they can see what looks like normal yet tiny ore deposits. However, a nightling in the expedition, found some strange light purple ore. Returning with the alien ore, the nightling gave it to the mining union, he was part of. The ore was researched and it was determined from tests that it could be used to create a new gootraxian.
As the caverns were being explored. More of this purple ore was discovered. There also was pieces of what appeared to be rainbow glass. This is similar to that one object that was found long time ago. Which is currently sitting in a museum. The central administration has decided that this information should not be revealed to foreigners at this time. Until the other end of the portal gate is explored more. The caverns on the other side are guestimated to be over 1500 meters deep. However it can't be confirmed, since it isn't known if the two ends of the portal gate are on the same habitable planet.

Prawn colony
Things were looking up in humans living in imperial Prawn. The civil war has ended and the colony started rebuilding.
The previous military government was removed from power, an alicorn stallion named Golden Hope, was crowned a prince and leader. An embassy was established between the two opposing governments on Prawn. That was until someone poisoned a water supply there, causing yet undetermined number of people to be affected. Those affected were transformed into rainboles and lost half of their sapience. This prompted Golden Hope to order the production of a cure for the sapience loss. Glowine and xerigium seeds were imported from Anocratic empire into the two cities of Prawn under his leadership.
Some humans were forced to plant these seeds and take care of them, so that a cure for their comrades can be produced once the glowine and xerigium plants grow to maturity.
Golden Hope wasn't like among the the humans of Prawn since he was openly a Equine supremacist. Not like the humans were given a choice but they welcomed him over the military commanders who were previously in charge.
He knew that poisoning one of the water supplies was a government conspiracy to test if this rainbole chemical weapon works if ingested in small quantities.
Golden Hope was planning to create a big tourist industry by having popular people in Prawn recreate famous paintings, sculptures and songs from Anocratic empire and display them.
Once there is lot of tourists in east Prawn at once, a grand plot to abduct them will be executed and the abducted tourists will be put to good use.
The day after Golden Hope hed given the order to plant medicinal plants, there was an assasination attempt. Which left him slightly injured with multiple of his gootraxians dead. The assasins were most likely former separatists from the civil war.
A year later:
The people affected by the poisoned water supply hed their minds cured in time, however their bodies still remain that of rainboles.
Couple of years later.
Prawn has been developing well. Lasting peace has been established with the seperatists who have gotten their own state named Nepstan. The grand tourist abduction plot was executed sucessfuly. After 12 months, people living in Prawn were being relocated to Acrab and the abducted tourists were executed, because they served their purpose.
Golden Hope was among the last to abandon Prawn. He was transporting a significant amount of foreign currency through Shield federation, by train.
After everyone has been transported to Acrab, where they were transfured according to their choice and granted housing with a job.
Golden Hope himself was given a job as a diplomat after this ordeal. While he served as a prince of Prawn, some have noted his psychopath like tendency, which was true. Despite being Bigpip's son, he was born a psychopath.
Wehicle war
"It's been 59 Acrab days since we arrived here. We just got three kinds of assimilative goo from Lami?ík company. Snow leapard, tiger shark and are currently stored in a genebank of ours next to a transformation chamber that we managed to succesfuly put togather. While things are going OKish i feel like we could get attacked at any moment while we are trying to work here. What did we do to deserve being attacked by human tribes so much! We or rather me, have failed to research how to construct a single whicle so far, it's much more difficult then i have expected. I trying to figure out how we could put togather a decent biodiesel fueled aircraft that could transport goods, people and drop bombs, an unspecialized all in one aircraft. I have helped to build a greenhouse, so we can grow plants all year round. As for myself, i bought a strangely sophisticated sword that can both kill and paralize a target. I'm unfortunuatly the only one with armor but i plan to rectify that after i manage to prototype the aircraft i mentioned before. I have also managed to negotiate with pony foreigners on a trade aliance after sending them diamonds by a transport pod. While working here, i befriended Mighty "Glitter" Xerigium." -Suprise Right
"I have just returned from searching bunch of ruins left behind by mechanoids and found myself a working bio-codable minigun! I'm so happy but it will burn through expensive ammunition quickly. Good thing we set up a plasteel forge in a factory complex just south of our settlement. I was talking with Suprise Right, she told me that the aircraft she was writing about has a finished whiteprint. However we don't have enough synthethic fibers and silver to construct it yet. Suprise right is now figuring out with two other people in the colony; how to build the 'perfect' armored land whicle. We also managed to succesfuly transfur six humans however one of them named Maay has strangely developed intervertebral hernia after their transformation. I don't know why that happened but they don't seem to struggle much because of it. I should personaly start expanding the storage room because it's full now. The damm mechanoids are getting more and more agressive, they are building those damm clusters next to our settlement. A small group of pegasi and earth ponies is currently out there fighting it, we should probably help them, but it might be too late for that now." -Mighty "Glitter" Xerigium
"My friend Suprise Right has finaly managed to build the 'tank' she was talking about. It's not perfect because it needs melee support against scythers. However it works well as long as their is someone who knows how to repair it. Building this tank took us, 94 days. Yeah a long time, much longer then i would prefer. The next project is going to be the Albatross, which we should be able to build when we have enough steel. Elena Federova, a tiger shark transfur in our colony turned out to be a good negotiator, so she managed to buy me a book on summoning magic, which i have studied thouroughly. I'm feeling confident that i can cast the spells but i still need practice. Rainbow Emerald told me that she will be carrying mechanoid components to the factory set up south in order to expand it. Also, i hed an idea. What if we use the corpses of defeated centipede mechanoids and make trucks out of them?" -Shining Brew
"We have the albatross prototype finished as well, finaly. I think we should present this to the central government as well as send them a gift in the form of a silver throne. There are some mechanoids on the island again, so we will need to take care of that later. I will personaly take a rest because all this work is making me very tired." -Bored Potato Mountain
