This was my first ever Masquerade performance. I put the act together for no other reason than to overcome my horrific stage fright. I had an idea, threw it together, and honestly never thought about the response it would get. I just needed something to get my ass on stage so I could either master my fear or have my heart explode like a tick. Either would have worked. *grins* Oh, and please forgive the outdated references. They’re so old they can vote. ;o)

This performance was (and always will be) dedicated to the loving memory of my dear friend Noah, who passed away a month before Anthrocon 2004. When I was falling apart and about to give up he gave me the courage to face my fears and get on that stage. I literally couldn’t have done it without him.
