Not sure what suggestion to give you really. I just followed the reference.
The sword was made out of:
- PVC pipe in the middle
- Foam board for the blades, armguard
- some fake leather for the handle
- LED's in each of the symbols on the blade of the sword
- Paper mache covered it all to make it more durable and smooth
I have the long shirt, pants, cape and hat as well as a wolf tail. I have the ears in transit, but the big thing is finding someone to create the blade. No one wanted to create the blade *sighs* so I'm gonna have to premiere the cosplay outfit next year sadly.
The skill to create the Blade is beyond my abilities sadly. Zangetsu from Bleach, Byakuya and Kanshou from Fate/Stay Night I did. Tetsusiaga may be a stretch, but the Blade of Ahrah is just too much for me *sweatdrop*
