Saved this lil gal from a water bowl we have out for some cats. It's already getting into the 80s here, so everyone gets thirsty quick, and will seek out any water. This poor thing nearly drowned, but I was able to save her by QUICKLY tossing her out of the water. She then walked around a bit, drying herself off. I managed to get some photos, with this being the best. Snapped on my Samsung galaxy S2, then edited a bit.

Fun fact. Paper Wasps are quite docile, for a wasp. Unless you go poking their nest, they wont bother you. I've pretty much gotten my face up close to a paper wasp nest before, and they never cared. As long as you're not stupid around them, they wont hurt you. They're beneficial, really. They help keep pest insect populations down.
