Furvus-Flex
Title can't be empty.

Well… no reason to be modest now: This is most likely one of my very best pencil drawings, when it comes to “anthros” and especially “furries”!
And my goal hasn’t been small: I wanted to create the very BEST version of “FurvusWolf” ever! Yes! Also, I wasn’t really happy with… my first version of his character. Sorry, this wasn’t really a good artwork. But I hope, this one here will make up for it!
And why did it work so well? See, dark fur is quite easy to draw, shade and highlight. And Furvus’ fur is grey (dark grey). It worked pretty well and… I grow with every new “anthro muscle furry” I draw. :3
Okay, enough talk. Here I present “Furvus” to you – the big muscle wolf!
Drawing media:
Pencils (HB, 2B, 4B)
Working time:
6 hours
Size:
A4 (20 x 30 cm)

Drawing by Patrick Reichel aka
NOTES:
The design of the speedo was originally created by :icondj-darkfox:
I love this design and especially the great clip and opening at the back, so that a large tail fits through. This is highly original and believable!
Oh, and this artwork shows 50% of the original size. No small artworks this time - enjoy this large version! :3

Anyway, it was a gift and... looks best on paper, sure. I'm referring to the original drawing, of course. ^^
Nevermind, thanks for the comment. Glad you like it!! Took some serious effort to create it, but I am really proud of the result. :-)
Anyway the level of detail and shading is very professional. Ever though of creating a furry children's book? :) A light hearted tale about a lost tail maybe, in the vein of Seuss? Or a more adult tale about Humpy the Wonder Bull who jumps a bard wire fence naked and get's his equipment snagged on it. xD
Damn it I'm selling again!!
once again damn fine effort for just pencils and paper. See folks, you don't need fancy expensive art supplies to make great art.
Cheers ReptileCynrik :)
Anyway, no publisher wanted to print anything of my stuff... so I just do it for fun. Furthermore, I do have a (well paid) job already.
:D
Thanks again for the nice words! ^^
*winks* take care
Kind words are a reflection of the wonderful artistic stylings of your medium.
Cheers ReptileCynrik! May your scales be forever shiny and tough. ;)
"We don't like to publish fantasy-stuff these days... because Mangas from Japan are much more attractive to the customers nowadays!"
Yeah. -..-"
Nevermind.
That isn't constructive just an excuse as to why they aren't publishing your stuff. Have you tried the U.S.? I say this because I've noticed you're in Germany and assume the guys you've contacted are there too.
Never mind.
I'm fine the way it is... and it's for FREE now, after all! ;-)
Why do you like the tail so much? It's because it is attached to the body correctly? ;)
Actually what I liked the best is the texture. The fur came out wonderful I think. I've seen the tail miss positioned so many times I hardly notice anymore :p
Hrhr...that fur might feel quite gooood! ^^
