An interesting perspective
This is the gun sight for a Bofors 40 mm L/60 anti-aircraft (AA) cannon. It was a popular medium cannon against aircraft used extensively during WW II.

This was taken at the MAPS Air Museum (http://mapsairmuseum.org/) and gives an interesting perspective of what it was like to sit in the seat and try to shoot down attacking aircraft. While it does not fire (or at least I /hope/ it does not!), the cannon can be rotated and elevated.
