(And secretly, I like to think of Rykela sometimes as having the same relationship with the fourth wall as Pinkie Pie. That is, shi doesn't acknowledge it. How fun would it be to write a story in which shi [i]knows[/i] shi's in a story? Because then shi'd abuse that for all it's worth...)

I know how you feel, and I'd encourage it. I know I'm a character in a story, but I like helping out other characters with theirs.
(though I've seen people abuse it: no matter how far away I run from that guy or how many boards I nail over that door, he always turns up behind me as soon as I turn around)
And she's been bothering Lenz like that all day (though she probably doesn't realize she's irritating the squirrel). X3
