Grimoire Talis Reference Sheet (2014)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Just a ref-sheet I made for my fursona.
_____________________________________________________________________
Usually going by just Grim, Grimoire has a past as ominous as her name. Starting life as an ordinary, concrete cat statue, Grim was brought to life by a mage who painted her with paint that possessed magical properties.
While she was quite close to the mage that gave her life, the woman died under peculiar circumstances at a considerably young age, leaving Grim to fend for herself. Fortunately, upon the mage's death, some of her magic was transferred to Grim, and with that, not only is has Grim been able to sustain herself, but she has found that she also possess the ability to use magic.
Grim is usually found in her "normal" anthro form, but when her magic is exhausted - or she is bored...or tired...or just wants to trip someone... - she can resume her statue form to gain her magic energy back. She usually does this in a very safe place, however, for if the paint on her statue is seriously smudged, or removed, she will be unable to return to her animated form until it has been repaired.
On occasion, Grim has been known to sprout heavy gargoyle wings, and with enough focus, she has been able to fly. As one might expect, this is a bit draining for her, and if she needs to travel a considerable distance, she will wind up having to make frequent stops to pace herself.
Personality-wise, Grim is usually very caring and maternal, but can be quick to anger, so beware...or else you might have a trick pulled on you!
