I'm not sure if I'm seeing your good shading or bad shading now, but I don't think it's all that bad. What did you end up thinking was so terrible with it? Did it just not feel like it was up to par with what you were hoping to do?

Whatever the case may be, the character design for her is still pretty nice. Horns and wings and a tail with that golden light-like color!
