KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

Destination: Universe-A0001

Post Jump Report: All ships successfully passed through universe-A0001 with no issues. Medical staff reports that all personnel are healthy and accounted for.

Fleet loadout: 1x capital ship, 1x assault carrier, 1x Aircraft carrier, 2x dreadnought, 1x battleship, 12x frigates, 12x destroyers, 25x

cruisers

Potential Technology: unknown group of interest possess a strange type of armor that seems to increase their speed, agility and strength 10 fold! R&D has requested the capture of one of these individuals for a closer examination.

Non Anomalous Hazards: It appears that our fleet unintentionally jumped by an active gravity well. Left unchecked will result in multiple ships colliding with each other. Fleet Admiral issued immediate warp jump to a much safer location.

Anomalous Hazards: None.

Planet of interest: Terran class world, possessing a vast variety of biomes spread across its surface. Scans dictate that there was no forms of intelligent life located below but strangely, SOS Beacons could be picked up throughout the world with some being transmitted hundreds of kilometers past the world's crust.

Summary: After the successful jump to U-A0001, a large platoon was sent towards the planet of interest to set up a base of operations with the support of one VTOL gunship, 5 all terrain APCs, along with a few dozen point defense drones. However, during their time down there, the group was under attack by an army of what could be described as 'walking lizards' alone with other hostile entities. They ended up sustaining heavy losses before orbital bombardment was issued. The following interview by the fleet's physician was conducted 2 days after the evacuation of the planet.

Interviewer: Dr. Jessica Jackson

Interviewee: Corporal William Shephard

Corporal shephard: you wanted to speak with me doc?

Dr. Jackson: Ah Sergeant! Right on time, please have a seat. Would like anything to drink?

Corporal shepherd: A glass of water will do ma'am thank you.

Dr. Jackson: you're very welcome! The reason why I called you here was because you were one of the very few to come back alive from the planet. I read from the reports that the group was just about finished fortificating your position when you suddenly surrounded by the natives. Care to explain to me what happened?

Corporal shepherd: It wasn't just the lizards doc! We gunned down so many of the fuckers but they kept on coming! Always, popping up from the ground in numbers, god I saw 3 of them grab my buddy by his feet and drag em down. We held eventually pushed them back with the help of the APCs but these….. massive rock creatures showed up and started wreaking havoc on our defenses, smashing our drones and vehicles.

Dr. Jackson: wait rock creatures?

Corporal shepherd: yeah. Probably alittle over 10 feet tall and made out of nothing but rocks with the exception of a glowing red eye where its head is. Bullets didn't do shit against them so we had to switch to energy weapons which was effective but quickly exhausted our reserves. We were losing people left and right with both the lizards and rock things working together to kill us. I swear, if it weren't for the gunship supporting overhead then I wouldn't be here talking to you.

Dr. Jackson: Was this the time when the commander called in close orbital bombardment?

Corporal shepherd: Well yes and no. Commander tried to call in support but he had his jaw ripped off mid sentence by a lizard man who appeared behind him. I retaliated by aiming at the thing only to realize that my mag was empty. The lizard hissed and charged at me with murderous intent, ready to sink its sharp teeth in when out of nowhere, a glowing arrow pierced right between its eyes.

Dr. Jackson: arrow? I'm pretty sure that we don't have such a primitive weapon in the armory.

Corporal shepherd: i thought the same way exactly doc but there it was, burning through the lizard's scaly purple skin. I looked towards the direction where it was fired from and saw…..it.

Dr. Jackson: You must be referring to the entity of interest. The one that supposedly saved you. Can you describe it to me?

Corporal shepherd: Well…..it looked more like a woman in some sort of skin tight armor but had these attachments forcibly fused into her. It didn't hinder the woman's movements at slightest though as she was flying all over the place,  killing the rock creatures and lizards with relative ease with her arrows. I say she may have destroyed over 100 in just 5 minutes but it wasn't enough to stop the horde from trying to take out group out. I grabbed the commander's radio and issued the bombardment on our position. I gathered the remaining members of the platoon and mounted the VTOL that landed to pick us up. Seconds later, the heavens were replaced by hellfire burning everything in 300 meter radius to dust and Ash.

Dr. Jackson: I see, what happened to the woman with the bow and arrow?

Corporal shepherd: she was still wasting the natives when I called it in. I was too focused on my friends to know what happened during the bombardment. If she ever shows her face again though, you can bet your ass that I'll buy her a drink!

Dr. Jackson: Very well, that will all corporal. Go get something to eat and some rest, you deserve it.

Corporal shepherd: If you say so doc, see ya around.

Closing statement. Even after everything that happened to him, subject appeared in high spirits after describing the aforementioned woman with a bow and arrow. His mental state looked stable as I questioned him and even showed a willingness to go back to the planet in hopes in meeting her. There's a good chance that the higher ups will promote him for his quick thinking and bravery and assign him to yet another outpost.
