Skyshadow's Atlanta

A little fan art sketch I did for Skyshadow of his space shuttle aeromorph, Atlanta, laying atop an inflatable 747 pool toy. He's worked up a really nice character design for her and I wanted to see if I could do that any justice. She was fun to work on and I wish I had thought of the concept first, but I think what Skyshadow's done with her far surpasses anything I could have come up with.

When I discovered aeromorphs a couple years ago, I found them outright strange. But thanks to drawings by Walter Sache, I have to say they've grown on me.

It's funny you should mention Mr. Sache. I've been saving some of his work thanks to a link someone gave me and among those are numerous aeromorphs. I'd actually seen some years ago when I first started using FurAffiity but the person that did them disappeared somewhere along the way.

Had I seen them through Mr. Sache first, I might not have found it as strange. As unfair as it is, a lot of my reservations seem to have stemmed from the fact that my first contact came from a novice artist who could not make aeromorphs as beautiful like yourself or the aforementioned artist. That, and the character in question was male.
