Daelon and Alex
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
I've decided to make a wallpaper out of this picture I could use. It just had a good enough motif for me to use as a wallpaper. The programs are supposed to fit into the left upper corner of the screen when using it, through noone will use this anyway.
Onto the drawing itself, I am quite proud of the shading, I admit. I've used 2 layers. 1 for the colors, the lightest point being at where the light is shining on to them (above and behind) the second layer playing the familar light points I usually shaded my artwork with. Testingly, I colored Daelon's line-art a dark grey and Alex's lines a dark blue. In my opinion it looks good.
Daelon still looks a little wonky for some reason, especially her claws/hands, but I cannot draw robots very well, give me a break. I still need to practice. If anybody can give me advise, Ill gladly hear.
I've designed Alex's suit and prosthetic legs (He's lost them) all by myself and they might undergo a few more changes in the future, especially Alex himself, as he resembles Tails too much... Due to the detail on his suit, he was tricky to line. It seems tolerable though.
The background is one of the few instances where I sat down, designed a background and drew it myself. The background is a reference to Daelon's core/heart/Mainframe, which is a white-glowing orb located inside of her. Clich'e, huh?
PS: Don't ask how Daelon blushes. She doesn't, the blush is just there to overexaggarate her shy-ness.
