For almost a month, Chrissy resided in an orphanage in Firewall City after being disowned by her parents. Well those days are over; the orphan pup is an orphan no more. Just a few hours ago, Chrissy was adopted by Bobbie and Elizabeth Goldhart. Needless to say, Chrissy almost couldn't believe it when she discovered she was going to live in a mansion with her extended adoptive family. The mansion belongs to Elizabeth's father, and also houses Bobbie's parents, and Bobbie's son, Ryan. It was all a little overwhelming for Chrissy, who was sure it was all too good to be true.

Thankfully, Elizabeth knew something that might help with soothing Chrissy's worries; a midnight swim in the mansion's in-ground pool. Although she knows how to swim, Chrissy is unable to swim due to her legs being disabled. So, Elizabeth took the precaution of putting arm floaties on her adopted daughter, and carrying her through the pool. Right now she is giving her a small watsu session (basically a kind of waterborne physical therapy). Chrissy thoroughly enjoyed their midnight swim; just the thrill of being in the water at night with no one around to disturb them was a magical experience. She also enjoys being able to get out of her wheelchair if only for a bit; and with a loving mother by her side, I think she's ready to begin her new life and accept herself for who she is.
