Dance in Vegas
It then became the night of the person's b-day with that dance. While Nicholas and Saya had shared a room, for the past two nights the two had been sleeping in separate ones. The female wouldn't tell her boyfriend why, only that it was because of a very special reason for that event. The male just smiled when his girl told him that, knowing it was only for this trip. Soon she would be back by his side. Right now it found the fosky in their room putting the finishing touches on his suit. He looked himself over in the mirror. "Well… here's to a good night," the male said out loud.
The guy left the room and got to the elevator. A short ride down got the male on the right level which was were the hotel ballroom was at. He saw the others from his work but not Mr. Lance or Saya. He greeted them all with a smile, wondering where those two were. The male asked but they didn't know. Suddenly his phone went off. It was a text from her. She only said that she was coming with their boss. Nicholas just smiled, knowing his patience would be rewarded. Finally near the time it was suppose to begin, Mr. Lance entered the room with a gorgeous female on his arm that was a poodle. This happened to be his wife that came on these trips. Nicholas's eyebrows went up and went over to the two. "Good evening," he said politely.
"Hello Nicholas," the male pit bull replied. "I see you're ready for tonight."
"Isn't Saya with you?"
"She is," Mrs. Lance replied and looked over her shoulder. The fosky's eyes followed her only to have them go wide with shock. Saya was coming as in slow motion to him. Her hair wasn't purple but dyed orangish red. It was loose and wave. On her arms were purpled colored gloves that went pass the elbows. Her red dress sparkled in the light, was strapless, and even had a cut off part to expose some of her right leg. The bat's eyes opened up blushing somewhat at all the faces that stated at her beauty. But then they found Nicholas's face.
He slowly came over and the two met face to face. "Saya?" he whispered, not wanting to believe it.
"Yes…" she replied with a smile. "Mrs. Lance thought this would work for me. And… I see what you meant about how I can be beautiful. I feel now in this moment… Like a true Jessica Rabbit."
The fosky got a smile. "So then… I'm your Roger Rabbit tonight?" The bat smiled and hugged her guy sweetly. Even at her height of 5'4, thanks to the shoes she was almost the same height as the fosky. With his right arm around the bat's waist the two made it over to the others.
The party for the person went great. The food and cake were excellent. But then the time came for the dancing. The music came on. Nicholas with a smile took his girl by her hands to the dance floor. "Nicholas!" she squeaked, blushing. "I can't dance!"
"Don't worry about that you shy, silly, adorable, little bat," he whispered. "Haven't you guessed? I can." The male pulled the female in front of his body her left hand in his right paw, his other on her waist. In little to no time at all the fosky was doing the work and Saya was having the time of her life.
"I feel like I'm five again," she giggled after being spun around by her boyfriend.
"You don't look five," Nicholas stated softly, kissing the female to which she answered. It was only a quick one but all that was needed.
However it wouldn't be until near the end that one song would come up that would touch Saya's heart and also make her wonder about the future with Nicholas. The song that came on was Once in a Lifetime Love (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UY42pI676P0 ).
She had never heard it but Nicholas had. His face got a smile. "I know this," he stated.
"You do?" the female asked. The fosky nodded as he pulled her in closer as the lyrics began.

Saya was able to hear the words and realized they applied to her a lot with Nicholas loving her that way.

The smile on his face was filled with love as he looked to his girl.

The song came to an end. Nicholas just leaned in, kissing Saya while stopping with the dancing. It was so surprising, her arms went to the sides for just a moment before kissing him back and her arms going around his neck. With that, the party slowly broke up. Nicholas and Saya returned to their room. She told the fosky that the hair color was very temporary. They changed into sleep ware and feel asleep, happy that this trip had been a success. But then the next day it was back to the airport and heading home. The bat was able to keep the dress which suited her just fine. Now it would be onto the next trip. But the words of that song stuck in the bat's mind. Especially the part of marriage and having kids. The female wasn't sure if such a future was possible with Nicholas all because of what had happened to her in the past. But it stuck in Saya's mind though. In the meantime she would focus on her work and him, loving Nicholas with all her heart until latter.
