Okay so before the next episode comes out on Saturday March 21st, enjoy this chapter. As mentioned, the comic isn't finished, so nobody knows how it was going to end. This is how I predict it would go.

Racing World

Playing Defensively

The day for the race came. It was to be held at the city of Arboros City and at the Heavan Highway Speed Track. This was a custom built race track high above the main streets and the whole was part of the RPG’s industrial grounds. According to Becks, some of the older racing fans who were familiar with the history of this place were sure to recognize the place as this was the very first one to host construction of the Ark itself. Today marked the tenth anniversary and as such it was only fitting to have such an intense race here. When the group learned of this, they and especially Zero did research to see if any connection with the Ring Masters and High Command could be linked to it. Ms. Dira of course was also reporting for the RPG side of the tournament. Blitz and Alfred were elsewhere and why they weren’t with her, Becks, and Beaks. But those two were also reporting in for the Aispir side of the tournament of this place. Meanwhile at the starting line, the racers were ready. It was important to note at points the highway itself wasn’t a straight forward path. There were turns that became different paths that all eventually went to the finish line. So this was going to be very interesting and in more ways than one. At the starting line, Nicholas noticed there were some female rabbits with checkered flags rather than a gorilla this time in somewhat revealing attire. This made the husky roll his eyes. He felt all they did was add glamor and not needed to bring in views for this race. Up in the stands the audience was excited for this. Farron was watching in his personal private box along with Mr. Mane, his wife, and King. The hippopotamus decided a change from his usual viewing area in his office would be nice this time around. Meanwhile those on the side of good who were racing were focused and a little nervous. They were determined to all make it through this and not have any problems like last time while also making sure none of the evil racers won. The countdown began and then the light turned green. The cars shot forward. It was here those from the RPG and those from Aispir separated. Nicholas saw this and contacted his girl Meika. “Be careful there love,” he told her.

“You to babe,” she replied.

She and Sonny did have to deal with Krom in one of the tunnel sections of this track. The male bear saw the enemy reptile was targeting him and glared back. Since Mia wasn’t here to help him, it would be up to Meika to help her friend out. She was hot on Krom’s tail, a look of determination on her face. She didn’t want her friend to get hurt like from before. However the vixen was too far back to help. And she knew the only way to help Sonny out was to use her car’s ability already. It was hard to say what happened but in the end Krom was able to pull ahead as all three cars came out in the sun. Sonny at least was alright much to everyone’s relief and especially Mia’s. “So what now with the rest?” Cody asked to those from Aispir.

“There’s nothing we can do but try to get through our section and get to the point on the track where it connects with the section our friends are at,” Nicholas replied. “Jessica, how does it look?”

She gave them the information. “Also it looks like Razor’s here to,” the female chameleon added.

“Let’s make sure we slow him down,” the husky growled. “We don’t need any of the evil racers winning this race.” This was quickly done. He then looked up wondering if any of the other enemy was watching. He remembered what Zero had stated that one of the Ring Masters and High Command might be at that party. The guy was wondering if any were really watching along with the other enemies that had been seen by him and Meika at that event. The male with glasses was going to show them and the enemy that he, Meika, and their friends weren’t afraid to fight back.

Meanwhile out on a different section of the track Pike was blasting ahead. Although he looked calm and collected, what had happened with meeting Zero was still fresh in his mind. But nobody else noticed this. Xeno was close behind. “Look at them go, folks!” Becks stated. These rookies are looking to take this race by storm! I mean look at these cars fly!”

“Fly!” Beaks squawked.

The asshole lupine then looked in his rearview mirror and saw Tag was gaining fast. “I have a feeling is isn’t going to be easy keeping that lead though because here comes Tag!” Becks said. “And he’s hot on their tail!”

“You’ve almost caught up Tag,” Mile told the tiger. “You’ve got five miles of track left before the first loop. That give you just under a minute to overtake them.”

“Gotcha Miles!” Tag replied. “Let’s just hope this new nitrous fuel pays off.” That was referring to what each car had for this particular race. In order to help with this, each person had their own boosters and special fuel to help them get through these things.

“Just don’t overdo it, alright?” the owl stated. “Use it at the right moment.”

“Sonny! Meelo!” Tag then contacted those two. “How are you guys back there?”

“Don’t worry about us, Tag!” the bear replied. “You need to stay focused!”

“We’ve got this covered,” the male chameleon added. He was gaining up on Krom. “Krom won’t be using his boosters as long as we keep him busy.” The guy then pulled up to the enemy racer. The crocodile noticed him and did his usual chuckle.

“You’ve put on some weight, Krom,” Meelo taunted him. “Forgetting to hit the gym lately?” His car rammed into the other one.

Sonny was right behind those two. “I’m within range,” he stated. “I can take him out now-“

“No!” Meelo cut him off. “Use that ability here and you won’t have anything to cover Tag with when you’ve caught up. Just slow Krom down for now. Tamira, what’s your status?” There was no reply from the pantheress. “Tamira…?”

The reason she couldn’t answer was because once again Vyxx was ramming into her and trying to take her out. Meika was behind them and seeing the whole thing. From th hit, Tamira took a big hit and felt it to. The evil hyena was able to pull ahead. “Oooh! Looks like Tamira and the Lunar Shadow have been taking a beating this racer,” Becks commented. “Vyxx is pounding away and not giving her an inch out there. That little scuffle just sent her back into last place.” He then turned to Beaks. “I’m sensing some bad blood between these two. What do you think, buddy?”

“Brutal!” the parrot squawked.

Tamira in her car glared ahead at the evil racer. Those from Aispir were able to hear not only what their friends had said due to the communications all being hooked up but the commentating as well from the anouncers. “This could end up very badly for us partner,” Daniel commented.

“It’s still early in the race,” Cody said.

“Yeah, we can’t say who’s gonna win this,” Jacob added.

“Hmph! I’ll make sure the enemy never crosses as soon as I get to them!” Victor stated.

Meanwhile Tag was still trying to catch up. “Come on…” he growled. “Almost there…”

Miles then noticed something on one of the monitors where he was at. “Tag!” he stated. “Axle-closing in on your six!”

“Huh?” the tiger replied. He had been so focused on Pike he hadn’t noticed the Ace closing in on him.

The avian himself was also determined to win as well. “You DID say he wasn’t going to be much of a problem this race, didn’t you?” Tag stated to Miles.

“I don’t know,” his mechanic replied. “He hasn’t been very aggressive since the start of the season and he seems to be racing for his own out there. But keep on your toes. There’s really no telling what he’s going to do.” The avian then checked Tag’s position. “30 seconds before the first loop.”

Meanwhile Xeno said something to Pike. “I know, I see him,” the asshole replied then got in contact with Axel since they were now connected by their car’s communication system. “Axel! Don’t forget what I told you… Deal with him. Now…”

The Ace glanced again at Tag. “Alright, this is it guys,” the tiger told those on his side. “I’m making my move. Sonny, standby while-“

Axel made his move and rammed his car into the Ripper. Those from Aispir who were traveling on a different path were able to see the whole thing. Razor by this point had been slowed down and was behind them and not able to catch up. “What the hell is Axel doing?!” Mia exclaimed.

“Tag!” Sonny exclaimed hearing the noise on his communicator. “You good? What’s wrong?”

“Whoa!” Becks exclaimed as Tag glared at Axel who pulled ahead. “Axel’s decided to ENGAGE Tag out of nowhere! This goes to show that old rivalries die hard! Our racers had better be careful while duking it out on this track. You definitely don’t wanna be crashing out while going these kinds of speeds!”

Axel did it again. “Loop de loop!” Beaks suddenly sqawked,

“You said it Beaks!” his goat co-worker agreed. The first one was here. The question was how the racers from the RPG were going to get through this one. It was massive, going high up in between two skyscrapers. While very stable, it was still going to be a daunting feat and require nerves of steel. It was like Tamira had stated; the fear could be here right on the track.

“You’re losing them Tag!” Miles exclaimed. “Shake him off!” That meant Axel who was ahead. “15 seconds! Go!”

Tag was doing his best and now it became a shoving match. “My god…” Cody said seeing this from his position.

“Brutal,” Rachel commented.

Tag then realized this wasn’t going to work. “It’s no good guys!” he told the others. “I’m gonna have to head them off at the second loop!”

“No worries Tag!” Sonny replied. “We’ll try to hold Krom off and buy you some more time! Just do what you need to do and keep pushing forward!”

Tag was able to pull ahead and caused Axel to spin out of control. “Ready the nos!” Miles stated. “You’ve got ten seconds!” Tag got ready and then hit it on his mechanic’s signal. It kicked in and Tag wasn’t prepared for how fast he was going to go but still kept his car in control.

“And Tag has just activated his nitrous boosters!” Becks stated. “What a show of momentum! Talk about pushing to the limits!”

“Power!” Beaks added.

“Too true! Up to this point, Tag’s got nothing to show but his A-game! Considering what’s been going on his performance last week, I’m sure he’s definitely not planning on showing anything less on the track today!”

It was here that Ms. Dira did her part to explain things after the cameras cut to her. This city was heart of some of the most recent technological breakthroughs ever known throughout the world according to her. Here constructed in the wide range of industrial cityscape, this track that was elevated stretched for a 100 miles. Heaven Highway was going to be one of the most challenging tracks the racers would ever face. The reason was the obstacles weren’t the standard dodge courses. The obstacle itself was a test of exceeding one’s limits. At various points throughout this track there were a series of road splitters, loop-de-loops, and the airborne arch which led as high as a 1000 meters off the ground. The racers would have to transverse this lengthy speedway and overcome the obstacles while pushing their vehicles to their limits and beyond. She then gave an example with the loops. The right speed was needed or else the cars would lose traction and fall off the track. And another was coming up for those from Aispir City. “Here’s our first one!” Florence stated.

“Time to do this chili peppers!” Sig commented.

“Yes, let’s rev it up!” Nicholas stated and they all used the boost. They also felt the force like Tag had.

“YEEEEEHAAAA!” Daniel exclaimed as they all made it.

“Wow! What a rush!” Cody said with a grin.

“Yes,” the husky agreed. “Now let’s see if was can help out the others!”

A split then happened and here the male with glasses and the rest of his group split up. It was time to move and get to the rest. Jessica, Mia, Daniel, Rachel, Florence, and Cody went one way while Nicholas had Miss Ballard, Sig, Victor, and Jacob with him. The first group soon found themselves behind Meika, Tamira, and Vyxx. “Hey you two!’ the otter told the ladies on their side. “Looks like you could use some help!”

“About time,” Tamira told him with her frown.

“Don’t be like that,” Meika commented, her happy bubbly attitude back. She was just glad help was here. “I think now we’ve got a chance.”

Vyxx looked in her rear view mirror and saw she had a lot of company. The evil hyena hit the gas to shoot forward. “Allow me,” the female swan in the group said.

She activated her car’s power and jumped, going forward. Florence landed perfectly right behind Vyxx. “Don’t think you’ll win this time!” the avian told the hyena.

Vyxx activated her car’s power as the boost would have been a bad idea. But while doing so the rest of the racers put on a bit of boost with the fuel as this could be done in quick short bursts. And this was where the hyena would end up losing. Only this time it was thanks to Tamira who not only did the boost to but also used her car’s power as well. The Lunar Shadow was a streak. Vyxx saw the pantheress come up and was powerless to stop the feline from not only ramming into her but hitting the car in such a way, the hyena spun out of control. Vyxx yelled out in frustration as everyone else shot past her. “Consider that a hit from last time,” Tamira stated, looking back as though saying it face to face.

“Two down, now we just have to deal with the rest,” Rachel commented.

Meanwhile Tag had made it passed the loop. Once more he was trying to head Xeno and Pike off. “Now what?” the tiger asked, seeing as those two were still too far ahead.

“Don’t give in!” Nicholas suddenly stated and Tag saw the husky and his group were coming in. “Our path will meet with Pike and Xeno! It’s how we’ll slow them down!”

Meanwhile Krom was being slowed down. Some of the second group had split again with Tamira and Meika. It was how the crocodile was then shoved into the last of places like Razor and Vyxx. Up ahead Pike and Xeno were driving when suddenly at a fork in the path Nicholas and his friends burst out on the scene ahead of them. “AHHH!” the lupine exclaimed and swerved out of reflexes.

Nicholas saw that and smirked. “You’re out of your league this time Pike,” he stated with an air of victory. “We won’t let you get away with shit or win anymore. At least for this one. You’re not the top alpha anymore; I am. Just like I showed those other racers especially that one other lupine with brown fur.”

The others with him also pulled back. Victor was glaring at Pike. “You won’t win this time!” the Lyrie bird. “If there’s one thing I hate more than loosing against Nicholas it’s scum like you!”

The guy rammed his car into the lupine’s to get his message across. “YOU!” Pike snarled.

Here they all had to choose a split in the path. What none of them saw was that Tamira and Meika had managed to pull ahead. And to many’s surprise, the pantheress was in first. She had won before but this was a first this season. “Well what do ya know,” Daniel commented, seeing this. “Now things are mighty interesting.”

There was still the problem to deal with Xeno and Pike. The latter was very pissed now and Axel had fallen too far behind. “Do I have to do everything myself?!” the asshole growled.

However things got more hairy as the racers continued to battle it out and go through these obstacles. And then things took a better turn for those on the side of good. Tamira got a huge boost, giving her a massive lead. Tag was right behind her with Meika in third and Nicholas in fourth. The husky felt with this, things were looking up. After all, Pike was then pushed back along with Xeno. The evil racers hadn’t won and were shown things weren’t under their control. And then to the surprise the pantheress pulled in, giving her a first place win. It had been quiet a ride through some more turns and loop-de-loops. But she had gotten it and was pleased with herself. Tag was pleased Tamira had won to. “Looks like she got a win,” Meika told her guy after they got out of their cars.

“Yep,” he agreed. “I can’t be mad at that. It was a good race, even more so since those guys didn’t win.”

As always the reporters came in to talk to the top four. Blitz also did his bit as well for the Aispir side and then stated he was signing off when that was over. “You’ve got a sweet gig going here,” Nicholas told the male bat.

“Oh, it’s all for show,” the reporter replied. “For the bigger powers that be!” He let out his usual cheesy chuckle but then got serious. “I’d be careful though if I were you. I got word from some sources that a very powerful person by the name of Lezo made a sizeable bet on this race… And lost.”

The four here perked up at that name but were able to play it cool. “I hope he was watching,” Nicholas simply said.

“Oh, I’m sure he was.” Blitz sent a wink to the husky and walked away. What the guy didn’t know was that Alfred had heard that and frowned. His suspicions were right. But the buck was going to keep quiet and not warn Dira for now.

Those on the side of good met up to talk about what Blitz had said with Zero in a room where they wouldn’t be overheard with Mr. Millennium, and Mane on the other end of the line. “For now there’s nothing we can do about it,” the Manned wolf replied. “I’ll be sure to let Riq know while I figure something this out. And be careful; there might be something nasty in store for this loss.”

He was right since Pike and the evil racers were meeting with their bosses. And Lezo was pissed. “YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING FUCKER!” he shouted at the lupine. Even Pike was flinching in response and took a step back as he should. “YOU MADE ME LOOSE A TON OF MONEY! NOW I’M REALLY WONDERING WHY THE FUCK WE PUT YOU IN CHARGE!”

“You are running out of chances Pike,” the golden High Command member stated. “Keep this up and we’ll make sure you’re not only out of here but your life as well.”

“It was Tag and his friends!” the asshole snarled. “That tiger…” Suddenly he stopped and a wicked grin came onto his smug muzzle. “Wait… I think I might have a way to turn this to our advantage.” He explained the plan. It was here that showed how crafty and smart he could be. And everyone else realized this would work.

“Very well,” the light blue Ring Master said. “But consider this the last of your chances Pike.”

“Keep failing us and you will pay the price,” the light green Ring Master stated and the call was cut. Things were about to get worse for certain.

And now all we need to do is wait but I believe I have done this in such a way this can still line up with the next episode. If what is going to happen is true from what I heard from a source, I'm going to hate Pike even more than I already do. It's only a matter of time before the episode comes out.
