The Princess of Thieves
"Somewhere along the journey, the party saves a woman from a group of monsters, who turns out to be a princess of a clan of thieves. She promises a high reward if she could be escorted back to her home, and joins the party. After a while of traveling together, tensions grow within the group as not everyone wanted her to come along. Eventually, they encounter a spell-casting monster who, before being defeated, in a last ditch effort shouts, “Instant ogre!” And ‘enchants’ the thief princess, with no effect. Not thinking anything of it, they go about their way. After waking up the next morning though, the party members are met with a giant ogre sleeping in the place where the thief princess was, and confusion and distress ensues. After it is discovered that she was transformed by the spell, they all groan as they have to take another detour to find a way to change her back. They keep moving on their way as they try to decide the best course of action. They enter a town to see if they can get any information on spells and reversing them, though are obviously impeded by the fact that they can’t just bring an ogre into a town. So they dress her up in huge baggy robes, which turns a lot of heads and leads to whispers of “Who’s that big guy?” and “What the hell, it smells like ogre all of the sudden”.
