Lucina Ink is the kind and caring person, which may be due to the fact that she is a mother. Though the only child she has actually given birth to is her young daughter, Samantha Ink. Her other child, Edward Ink, is her adopted son. In order to support her family, she worked two jobs that pay a pretty fair amount. Edward immediately saw the amount of work Lucina does just to support all of them and decided to leave the house in order to prevent her from working so hard. So now she's reduced to one job and supporting her daughter.
Lucina is also born with a genetic mutation that causes her tail to be longer and have a glowing tip. It is benign, aside from getting in the way sometimes. And much like Edward, she too seems to have some kind of symbol located on her left breast that not many shadowlings possess. And, again, much like Edward, she claims it is only a birth mark.
