I love the entire S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, despite its setbacks... the mood and atmosphere of the game is fantastic. Have you heard of "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Complete"? Its a graphical overhaul mod that vastly improves the look of the game, fixes bugs, and adds some additional functionality, while keeping the story and gameplay the same.
