Beachcomber comes across as a laid-back beach bum more interested in fucking than causing harm. Which he is. He's also a voracious predator whose rapid metabolism and active lifestyle burns a huge number of calories. A lot of those calories come from fans or willing victims. And once you offer yourself as a meal, that's it. You don't get out of the otter the same way you got in.

He's also, on at least one occasion, dragged a victim out past the reformation-limit marking chain of buoys and only then swallowed them alive. You wouldn't expect the seemingly nicest of the beach preds to be the most murderous, but here we are.
