"We are the Scarlet Rebels."

I have been getting down more and more of Culerro's story. The deeper I get into it the more I realize I'd like to take the story in a serious direction. Of course Culerro is forever a goofy blue dude, but he will progress and grow so much throughout his journey. What I can boil down the story to it's simplest form is Culerro's internal struggle with his RUSH mode and his external struggle with the revolution against his creators.

I gave costume design a try. The Scarlet band around his waist and subtle face paint are typical for the revolutionist. Then I kept the rest of him simple. As always his tan shorts, and added some other insignificant articles of clothing.

This originally was supposed to have a background, which is why the shading is so dramatic but I could NOT get it right. Maybe I'll give it another go sometimes but for now this will do and I'm quite proud of it.

This song was played SO MANY times during this drawing which took me a few hours. It really hits home as far as the story goes in my opinion.
