After Richard surrendered, the others were imprisoned for further use by https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62096729/ in a pocket dimension where they each had a private room, and a common 'entertainment' area, though it had no outside world information coming in.

While they spent time in their rooms, they were slowly altered by the magic inside to take forms more useful to the master.  Kaga ended up as a Wildtouched hawk like Richard, and she's here, hold guitar, something Richard taught her that she's trying to use to keep her connection to him.
