A mana gate is a stone, much like the brick found in an arch. It contains a rune on each side. Once activated it will signal mutiple others to form a gateway between space and even dimentions. The more stones the stabler it is. Three is the minimal but I recommend at lest 4. I did survive one with two but it wasn't a delightful experiance at all.

And yes, it costs way more energy than its worth to heat this much snake body with magic. That's why I like to find warm blooded things to coil around. As to mana gates, I still have no idea what you're on about. Kalokin might know, but I'm no academic when it comes to magic.

Few know little about them. Save that there is some in every dimension. Forgotten or not. And that they are perfectly shaped.

As for the magic, it sounds like you should invest in rune magic, it just uses a little activation energy and the runes do the rest. Even Axergon's can do it despite have no ability to chanal magic... Normaly.

L: This universe doesn't support rune magic... actually, this universe supports very little in the way of traditional, academic magic. Physics here allow a much more primal, elemental kind of magic, like what Khaesho demonstrated... I think I know what your Mana Gates are here, but aside from that, be careful with what magic you attempt.

Then, there was an opposing moral side that viewed it as enslaving souls for worldly profit, but it was a rather interesting corner of the lore.

Yog and I have done the exact same thing on many other pieces. Look through some of Yog's older pictures, and you'll find equally massive comment pyramids from before he and I started chatting on skype XD

Oh? perhaps you should make the trip back! There is nothing like the comforts of home, expecauly after an adventure! (I have had a glimpse of it, I should probably point out that axergons only concept of home is where one is staying or has settled down.)
