Natsuki x Nicholas: Leading up to a Date
So first just note I'm not hurting her here. I would never. Second I'm sorry this is short but it's to lead to something greater.

However before that happened, Nicholas found himself so busy during the month of April that he couldn’t find a chance to make that move with Natsuki. Sure he called the Scottish Collie when he could alone with texts, saying that he was sorry that he was so busy. She would always let out a friendly, gentle laugh during the calls before telling the fosky not to worry and that she understood. The female whenever they finished their calls always ended it by saying “Talk to ye latter…” as sexily as she could. For the texts, this was ended with a heart symbol.
It frustrated the long-haired male that he couldn’t do anything else. But he knew that near the end of this month, he’d be more free to finally let Natsuki how he felt about her. All that was left was to go for it on a date. Nicholas knew what the Scottish Collie liked and had a perfect place. If all went well, he would win her heart and be with her. Finally at last near the end of the month, the two were once again walking and talking. Natsuki was a lot happier to be with the male and he thought so as well. Or so it seemed to him. “Thanks for being so patient with me while I was busy,” he said to her.
The Scottish Collie smiled and flicked his tail with her own. “I don’t mind Nicholas,” she replied. “I knew ye couldn’t help it. That’s just life.”
“I still feel bad for doing so.”
“Don’t be.” Natsuki stopped so the fosky was forced to do so he could see her smile.
Their walk ended up back at the door of her place. “Here we are,” he said to her.
“Yes,” the female replied happily.
“Say Natsuki?”
“Yes Nicholas?”
The male swallowed the nerves that were coming out. “I still feel bad with working too much this month… I want to make it up to you.”
“How so?”
“Well… I know of this place where we could grab dinner and-“ The rest of his sentence was cut off as Natsuki placed one finger on his lips like before.
“Are ye asking me out on a date laddie?” the Scottish Collie asked with amusement and love, her tail beginning to wag with happiness.
“Is that a yes?” he asked, hardly believing it.
The female wrapped her arms around him. “I would love to…” she whispered. Nicholas hugged her back.
“I see…” the fosky said softly. “Then… we do have a date…”
“Mmm!” Natsuki replied happily and the two pulled back. Before she could walk into her place, the long-haired male hugged her from behind around her neck gently, kissing the top of her head. The action caused him and her to blush hard.
“You’ll love it, I promise,” he whispered. Her arms then went around his.
“I know…” Natsuki said softly. Nicholas sadly let her go but saw that her eyes never left his until the door was closed. Both were grinning like idiots.
“He asked me out…” the Scottish Collie whispered. “What took him so long…?” They were looking forward to this.
