KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

\n       This is the first chapter to my novella of a story I've been writing for a very long time. It is a clean story through and through, but there are a lot of adult themes and gore which is why I loved writing this. In this story we follow two feral wolves and their journey through a post-apocalyptic earth where humans are on the brink of extinction, and are willing to do anything to survive...

\n Please comment and rate! Don't be afraid to be harsh, as this is a rough draft and I need to know where to improve! If this story does start to catch an audience, I will post up more chapters if asked! Thank you for reading, and please enjoy! (Btw, the yiffy story "First Time For Everything" is from this story)

\n                             Moonlight  Ch. 1

\n     His glowing golden eyes watched her silently from the cover of hidden bushes that
\n surrounded the small pond. Her soft, gentle tongue licked the surface of the water, and
\n her beautiful violet eyes remained completely closed. As she lifted her head from the
\n pool, Tsenturi was tackled to the ground with immense force. From the flat of her back
\n she found herself gazing into Kerilus' bright yellow eyes with the pale moonlight shining
\n all around them, casting a faint glow on his silky blue fur.
\n "I've been watching you for the longest time..." Kerilus said in a gentle tone.
\n     Tsenturi didn't know how to answer him, but instead she relaxed as he removed
\n himself off of her. Kerilus collapsed next to her and rolled over to his back as he look up
\n with his lover. The stars were shining brightly in the open sky as the two wolves laid side
\n by side, just enjoying the time they spent together.
\n "Hey Kerilus, do you have any plans for tonight that I don't know about??" She asked
\n with a hint of lust in her voice.
\n "Not that I know of, unless you had something in min..."
\n     A loud gunshot interrupted his words as it echoed throughout the forest. It had
\n been fired not to far from where they were... The two wolves sat up with ears perched
\n highly in the air, listening for any clues as to which direction it had come from. They
\n looked at each other with confusion and anger. Why would humans be out so late hunting,
\n and why had they traveled so deeply into their part of the forest?
\n     With no more time to hesitate, the two wolves nodded to each other and began to
\n pursue the noise. The trees flew by like blurred images as they broke out into a full sprint
\n towards what they believed to be the human. Locking on to the scent of fresh blood made
\n their hearts race with excitement. After running and dodging the endless trees they came
\n to a small clearing where they crouched down and studied the creature before them. A
\n hunter sat alone, perched over his fresh kill which he had been working on gutting for a
\n short while. One thing wolves would not put up with was crossing boundaries, but
\n competition for food that was rightfully theirs was enough to send them into hate.
\n     Kerilus and Tsenturi charged into the field, planning a flank as they grew closer to
\n the human. The frightened hunter saw Kerilus and his glowing eyes, and scrambled
\n frantically for his gun which he had left on the ground. By the time he had reloaded it and
\n pointed it forward, Kerilus had already went stealth in the tall grass. The hunter huddled
\n close to his gun, letting out nervous tears at the thought of being killed this night. Just
\n then, Kerilus burst from the tall grass and pinned the hunter to the ground as he was
\n overwhelmed with fear.
\n     Kerilus tried to bite his throat every chance that was given to him, but the hunter
\n held him back with his gun. Just when it seemed the hunter would overpower and throw
\n Kerilus to the ground, Tsenturi came from behind and sunk her teeth into the hunter's
\n arm. The howl of pain was the last thing the hunter could produce, for Kerilus had
\n clenched his teeth right into the hunter's windpipe.
\n     Kerilus crawled off the squirming human who gasped for air, but Tsenturi
\n peaked over him with a grin on her face. She reached down and grasped the human's
\n throat and ripped out his windpipe, instantly snapping his neck and leaving the body
\n motionless under the pale moon. With both wolves full of adrenaline, they backed up and
\n looked at the mess that stood upon them in the field. A dead deer lay half skinned, and
\n a dead human laid there without his throat. The two wolves panted for awhile, but
\n Tsenturi stayed on the lookout just in case more humans were to come along. A night
\n of peace and romance had turned sour in so little time.
\n "They just keep coming... There has to be a reason they keep doing this." Kerilus said as
\n he walked up to Tsenturi.
\n "I would imagine that their food source is running out if they have to come this far into
\n the woods for it." Tsenturi replied turning to him.
\n "Maybe, I just wish they would leave." Kerilus said.
\n "Maybe if we keep killing more of them, they will stop coming into our territory."
\n Tsenturi said as she embraced Kerilus tightly.
\n "Maybe... Let's head back home Tsen." Kerilus said breaking away and heading back
\n to their den.
\n      Tsenturi smiled to his back and followed him without a word. Kerilus glanced
\n over to her and looked into her eyes, quickly breaking away and skimming her body. She
\n was a small wolf, even smaller than he was, but she was extremely beautiful. Her pink fur
\n was always so clean and smooth, and her white chest fur was always so puffy and busty.
\n She looked at him with love in her eyes, knowing what he was thinking, but she didn't say
\n anything to him. Instead, she moved in closer to him and entwined her tail with his as
\n they made their way back to the den.
