I mean, most of the GPS and computer voices in OUR world are female. It's not that surprising, is it?

I don't know what the writing in the upper right hand corner of the strip is supposed to say, but I know what it looks like it says. LOL.

Well, that's just because higher pitched voices take up less memory space. I don't think there are performance or efficiency reasons to put boobs on your robot.

Well, besides the memory thing, female voices and bodies and aesthetically pleasing. Guy call their cars female, along with so many other things. Like seriously it's a common thing. Mass effect, halo, in fact, name one popular book/game/movie with a male robot main character.

Is I-Robot popular?

2001 A Space Odyssey, Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, oh that obscure thing called Star Wars or that even more obscure thing called Star Trek. But yeah, aesthetics is not performance. Pretty much what I was saying the only reason to put boobs on a robot is because it gets lonely in space and it's nice to have some tits to look at.
