What is Control Software That Is Used with the AM.CO.ZA InkRIP Software (Part 2)

Now when it comes to printing, there are two distinct types of software that one needs to use.

These two different types of software are often called Control and RIP software.
We will be focusing on the purpose of the former in this section.

Howdy guys. In today's video, we're gonna be looking at control software and what it's used for, but before that, let's have a quick intro first. So, today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make short and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Now, if we head into the tutorial here, so like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at control software, not so much on how to use the programme. We're also we're gonna cover that in a future programme, but just current what it is and why do we need it. So, now, for this tutorial, there's 2 different ones we'll be using or um 2 different ones we could be using. The one is PrintEXP and then another one is ATools or alignment tools from AM.co.za. Now, previously, we looked at the rip software, so that is how do you convert a print file into something the printer can understand. Now, when it comes to the actual control software, this is gonna be the bridge between that file and the printer. So, that's gonna allow you to upload that or send that directly to the printer without having to use something like a flash drive. So, there's some other options that you can also do on a form of control software, and that is where you can directly control the printer. So, you can set up different values for the channels, you can calibrate things. And um Adjust, clean, and so forth. So, it's gonna be a handy programme to learn. Um, yeah, the common one is print EXP and like I said, the tools or alignment tools from AM.co.za is also a good alternative. Now, another thing to keep in mind with A tools, if you're gonna be printing straight to the printer, or should I say sending the file straight to the printer, it is very important that this tool first has to create a form of connection. Now, we will cover that later, but um. Yeah, just keep that in mind. So, in order to print straight from something like encrypt, you're gonna need some form of control software open, running in the background, and then it will automatically read when you're sending a file from encrypt and then take it straight to the printer.
