Almost ran into Dylan Moran last night on the way to dinner at Hard Rock, slight hee moment.
Saw Ross Noble, gee he can talk a lot but I enjoyed all 2.5 hours of it. Nearly made it to a 3 hour long gig. Sitting second row is daunting, good thing he asked questions to the first row =d Am happy because I got to see Jeff Green and Ed Byrne at the hifi. Also saw some other LJers for the first time more heeees i.e. Ruth, Em & Jess.

Been on a hot chocolate drinking sessions at Max Brenners, I blame Steph ;) but they're really nice. Well it'll do for now with no access to Milo ;p They're nummmmyyyyy though. Did some shopping today at the DFO on Spencer St, came back with shoes, a bag and a book for dad. Also bought sockies and glovey stuff at Central shops. Not too much wintery gear as it doesn't get freakingly cold in Perth. No more shopping though because I'm afraid of not being able to shove it all in my suitcase =d

I end with my usual whinge of needing or wanting sleep. I don't need it in the sense I'm still awake and functioning but I like to be lazy. I'll catch up on it at the airport waiting for my flight and on the actual flight home I suppose.

First Comfest is turning out goodly. Crying makes it goodly too ;D

I'm in the lovely city of Melbourne now heeeee :D Am so buggered so going out and doing stuffs because "hee I'm in Melb must do stuff" etc is just going to make me more buggered. But it's all good.

In short, saw Tara and gave her an early b'day pressie. Went to see Jim Henson's Puppet Up last night, made me cry them bastards but I would so see them again if I could. Also saw Hooray For Everything, a freebie and the material was better than I anticipated. Plus the guys are not bad on the eyes either ;p Also went to see Scod's (of Tripod fame) real band (can't remember the name) perform at Trades Hall which have nice comfy couches and warm heaters. Gatesy was there being cute and taking photos of Scod's band performing.

Saw some peoples such as hpn/nicole, courtney (have not seen for like 8-9 years) and max/meredith. There may have been others but I have a tendancy to zone out and not focus on faces of people passing by. Doing hotel room shuffle with hails, court and max as court/max don't have a place to stay and I definitely have room to let them crash for a while. Well for as long as I'm in Melb and it's no hassle. Drinking reasonably... not too bad.

Am in need of sleeeeeeeeep but there's construction dudes working outside my room'ish so I woke up early. Sleeping late and waking early is zonky. Anyways internet time is nearly up so I better post this and check other things.

In other lazy stuff I can be bothered to say, I shall be going to NZ next year :D possibly for two weeks bumming along with my parents for free couch accom *snerk* Shall need to check my finances as I recently splashed out on a spanky laptop (albeit from Dell but it's mine nonetheless :P) and other expensive schtuff that make the festive season all that more enjoyable. I want to do a fair bit of travelling next year and start being more independent and that requires money =d

So yeah, I have a laptop and am using it to mooch broadband¹ from a neighbour who has an open network. I don't care if I'm scum! ;p It may die from lack of reception but dang it's superbly faster than dial-up =d

¹ - under the bad influence of Laney because she started it and I'm a sheep to follow ;D I've connected to the unprotected wireless networks around me before to see if I could but I've never mooched.

WA to get 3-year daylight saving trial, huzzahhhhhhhh!!! :D cos 3 hours difference is a fucking PITA especially when I need to deal with banks that are based in eastern states. Basically WA to get daylight savings between Nov-March (last sunday of March) and we vote after the trial whether its permanent etc. News would be of more interest to Aussies on the flist.

For kitty, who thwarted my plans of chucking a spaz last week. Kudos dude, tis appreciated.

A couple weekends ago whilst mum was off work for a while. I went on a happysnap-spree around the garden and just took shots of flowers and some lizards I managed to stalk before they disappeared from the overbearing human getting too close to them. Also took some shots of satay mum cooked. Put them all up on ScrapBook, evil thing. Might as well make some use of it whilst I can. The gallery can be found here.

I seriously need to not speak over the weekend. My voice is going =d which is not really a good thing if people call you for queries. Nothing is helping my cough, unless I eat sugar cough lollies all day long. So nothing helps the cough meaning the sore throat lingers and my voice croaks. Fun. Had a spaz attack trying to drink water and instead of swallowing it and possibly choking or some going down the windpipe making me cough heaps more, I decided to spit out the water like I was spewwing. All in front of mum -_- but at least it was water and in the kitchen and not on carpet but still -_- She was understanding about it all.

Why is it so hard to take pictures of glow-in-the-dark type stuff?
