Some Artsy-Fartsy Shots of Sis's Pool (Now With Cheap New Night Lights!)
The covered deck needed some nighttime lighting, so I installed this string of festive little electric Japanese lanterns that I found at a craft store. They give off enough light to easily see by, but not enough to attract bugs or give off heat. 'Cause hell, look at that thermometer in the third shot. It's hot enough at 9:00 PM already without a bunch of light bulbs getting into the act.
The underwater lamp actually gives off much more light than appears in these photos; I was using my little digital camera which made everything look rather dim.
