Recent Concert

I just recently saw Social Distortion perform live, and I have to say it was FANTASTIC! For as long as they have been around and performing they haven't list "it" one bit. Mike still has more swagger and stage presence than most of the new bands out there. The live performance rivals, and I must say in some cases beats, the recorded versions on their albums. My only complaint was that the show didn't go longer.

I went to the show last night at first avenue in minneapolis. good time,indeed. blackpool lights were alright,the supersuckers were awesome,and of course,social distortion was too. dont really remember the setlist. pretty much what they typically play. good time. i hope anyone who sees them later in the tour enjoys them as well.

Going to the show tonight at the HoB on Sunset in Hollywood. I'm really excited. They're my favorite band and I've never seen them live.

At first I was thinking I would drink a lot for this show but I decided I'm going to stay sober so I can remember everything and have some good memories. :)

so I was curious if anyone was by chance lookin for a ticket to the sold out Las Vegas show on Sunday Jan. 15th........I've got one I need to get rid of cause no one seems to want to go see them with me(or can't get the time off from work) I'm still going but wold really really like to get this other ticket taken off my hands if interested let me know.

got to see social distortion twice in the past couple of days. sooo awesome.

sun. oct 30 was here in houston, tx at the meridian. they played a good set but i hate that club with a passion. the club, the smoke and all the dumbass people made it very unenjoyable. other than that, socail distortion played great. we were pretty close to the stage and i could somewhat see what was going on, depending on if a fat ass or tall person stood in front of me.

tues. nov. 1 saw them in austin, tx at stubbs bbq. much much better show. their set list was 10 times better than the houston show. you can tell mike ness likes austin alot more. i really enjoyed watching them play austin even though i was really far from the stage. that made me sad. i was watching them by looking through tree braches...ARRGGH. i also wanted to meet them after the show but that didnt happen either :( i swear one day i will get to meet him.

im glad i got to see them twice though. mike ness said they will be coming through texas again next year.. wooo.

so my boy denny &i take the trip to phili tonite, as fucking excited as school children to find a piece of paper on the TLA stateing mike ness has a sore throat &tonite's show has been canceled but there's a make up one on sunday.
which is great cos he called in sick at 6pm. the last fucking minute and i cant make it to the sunday show and friday is my birthday &he ruined it.
i demand a doctor's note

I know its a long shot, but I'm trying to get rid of my 2 tickets for Saturdays show at the TLA in Philly. I'd even trade for 2 tickets to Thursday or Fridays show. OR I'd trade them for tickets to see Henry Rollins Saturday night at the House of Blues
