Submit a Flavor for the Flavor Showdown Competition
As we gear up for the Flavor Showdown at SNX 2026, we’re excited to share a refreshed theme direction for this year’s competition—one that elevates the experience and creates even more opportunities for standout participation from leading seasoning and ingredient companies like yours.
From the Ranch to the Range of Flavor
This theme celebrates the journey of taste — from the roots of Texas ranch traditions to the bold, innovative range of flavors shaping today’s snack landscape. It’s authentic, expansive, and designed to inspire ingredient and seasoning companies like yours to push boundaries while staying grounded in unmistakable Texas character.
Visually, the theme blends rugged textures, spice trails, and a modern cowboy aesthetic, with messaging that invites participants to “saddle up and take your taste buds for a ride.” It positions the Flavor Showdown as more than a competition — it’s a celebration of culinary innovation and flavor craftsmanship rooted in heritage and driven by discovery.
The Flavor Showdown competition will take place on Monday, March 30, and Tuesday, March 31, during SNX 2026 Experience Zone hours. SNX attendees will sample and vote for their favorite Texas-inspired flavor.
The SNX 2026 Flavor of the Year Award will be announced at the Closing Party on Tuesday, March 31.

INCREASED EXPOSURE
When you participate, you will receive increased exposure before, during and after the show.
- Showcased on SNXevent.com
- Promoted prior to the show through SNAC’s social channels and to trade and business media
- Provided signage to display in participants supplier suite
- Logo displayed at the Flavor Showdown. Sponsors will receive additional exposure on sponsor thank you signage throughout the event.
- Inclusion in post-show press release and social posts showcasing Flavor of the Year winner and thanking all participants.
TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
- Sponsor the Flavor Showdown: $10,000
(The registration fee is waived for any Flavor Showdown sponsorship or any SNX sponsor over $10,000) - Participate only without full sponsorship: $2,000
PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
- Participants must be exhibiting flavor and seasoning supplier members of SNAC International.
- Companies may submit one Texas-inspired flavor.
- Each entry must be submitted on a base product.
- If you have won the Flavor of the Year award in the past, you may not resubmit the same winning flavor.
- Products will be sampled and voted on by SNX 2026 attendees during Experience Zone hours on Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31.
- Personnel from participating companies are welcome to taste the products but are not eligible to vote in the competition.
- There is a $2,000 registration fee to participate.
- The registration fee is waived for:
- Flavor Showdown sponsors (Flavor Showdown sponsorship is $10,000)
- Companies sponsoring SNX at $10,000 or more
