LF Charlie/Ian Series - Just getting together

I can't recall the author or any of the titles and I'm sure that I even BETAed a few chapters. I've looked through all my bookmarks, I've looked in my library of fanfiction, I've looked through several communities and I'm just not finding it.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I thought, the last time I read it, it was over on AO3 but I can't find it there either, which makes me wonder if it's been deleted.

I also thought that it was something CerealKiller was working on, but I can't find it listed on her LJ and she's not on AO3 unless under a different name.

So, what can I remember about it?

It starts with phone calls. Charlie calls Ian about something and they talk it over and Charlie gives Ian his number to return the favor. Charlie calls a couple more times (I think) before Ian actually calls him about something. Charlie calls Ian about the "dirty bomb" in LA but can't give Ian any specifics. Ian is sitting in his classroom(?) at Quantico, talking with a fellow instructor when Charlie calls. After the call the other guy talks with Ian a bit.

... That's all I can recall. I really hope someone can help me find it because it's driving me nuts not being able to remember it or find it.

Due to recent changes in the user agreement and location of servers not everyone is comfortable using LiveJournal anymore. At present snipper_voodoo is cloned on DreamWidth under the same name and everyone is welcome to post directly there.

That said there is very little story content actually on the community. Most post are links to individual pages. We would like to beg that you back up or clone your work lest we risk losing it to shut down or deletion.

If you no longer want to claim your work Archive of Our Own has an option to import works then orphan them. Please consider that. Just because you no longer like or want to be associated with your work doesn’t mean there aren’t other people who love it.

Sniper Voodoo on DreamWidth

UPDATE: sniper_voodoo is now active on DreamWidth. And when I get the chance I'll make the com look less naff.

Hello,
As many of you are aware LiveJournal has recently made some changes that have pissed a lot of people off. And I know that a lot of people have made the switch over to DreamWidth. This isn’t a very active com and I’d hate to lose what few people we have.

However, recently, DreamWidth has worked out how to import communities. As a result I have created sniper_voodoo over on DreamWidth.

My plan is for people to be able to post on whichever platform makes them happiest then every so often do an import to DreamWidth so a complete copy of the com can be all in one place. All posts will still be the property of the original poster and can be accessed through Open ID. And according to their last set of notes DreamWidth is working on a way for people to ‘claim’ their LiveJournal posts and comments with a DreamWidth log in.

I’d just like to state that I’m doing this in an attempt to keep everyone happy which means someone will probably get pissed off. If for some reason you don’t want any of your posts on DreamWidth ever reply to this (I’ll screen comments) or contact me directly and hopefully something can be worked out. I hope to do the transfer within the next week.

Our challenge for January is

Ultimatum

Remember this? Ian's snitch gets whacked and Ian looks set to take the fall for it. Everything points to Ian being dirty and he takes Colby hostage inside the prison. Then he makes a call to Charlie. Charlie is the person Ian trusts to get him out of trouble and Ian's 'date' with Nikki sounded platonic as all hell. Plus Ian didn't call back.

Try going inside Ian or Charlie's head during the episode. Or give us the two reunited after Ian gets released. Ian and Colby are stuck in that room for a long time, maybe they talk about Charlie. Maybe Nikki finds out that Ian is more interested in the other team member with great curls. Have fun with this one and I'll see you in a month.

So I have been a neglectful mod and am still catching up on a back log from almost two months on the road. I didn’t post a rewatch challenge last month because I was stuck in Florida with Stone Age net access. So for December let’s get back into the swing of things with

Angels and Devils

Amita is grabbed by nut job cult leader and Ian is right on his tail. This is interesting since this is a heavy Charlie/Amita cannon episode but still see what you can do with it. Maybe Ian had special plans coming into before Amita got grabbed. Maybe Charlie needed some help calming down and getting back in the game while Amita was missing. And that scene at the end? Maybe in your version Charlie had a proposal for someone else. Remember threesomes are allowed as long as Charlie and Ian get it on.
