Since then, the program has grown and evolved into an internationally recognized model for teaching troubled children and their parents how to effectively manage their emotions and &#8220;keep problems small.&#8221;\u00a0Today, SNAP offers\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/snap.childdevelop.ca\/snap-programs\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"428\">gender specific programs<\/a>\u00a0for children ages 6-11 and youth ages 13-17.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Land Acknowledgement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p style=\"margin-right:0;margin-left:0\">At Child Development Institute we acknowledge that the land on which we work is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit,&nbsp;the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, the Wendat, and the Metis people. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
