Seriously, I started watching white collar maybe some time last week, and now I am almost through season two and hopelessly immersed in fanfic already. The gen stuff is where it is at, but I also am pretty sold on neal/el/peter as an ot3.

One of the best things about this show (besides everything neal does, besides the amazing matt bomer) is Diana. She kicks ass, doesn't need damsel saving (that's more neal, and only sometimes), she's a gay poc, and she is interesting and I just want to know everything about her.

This show.
We're in the process of trying to find a new place to live, mostly because the place we are currently in is full of, you know, MICE. and also the part where heating it costs an arm and a leg and setting a child on fire in some kind of archaic ritual, mostly because the fire actually brings WARMTH.

Also, in my current neighborhood, crime is a bit of an issue. Last year my roommate Angela was for reals attacked by a CHILD GANG. What the hell even IS THAT. We have a wannabe arsonist running around trying to set people's houses/cars/debris on fire. I am not honestly sure if (s)he is trying to perform a public service by giving people the warmth we all so desperately crave or what, but so far the only successful attempt resulted in a burning car. This happens to be Oregon, so most fires just kind of smoulder wetly. Except forest fires in the summer, of course.

Anyway, found an awesome duplex only apparently the owner lives like two blocks away and pets are anathema to him. Sooooo, my whole lying-my-face-off plan is destined to get complicated and possibly a little evict-y in my future. Alas.

Also, rediscovered Cookleta. Apparently I am going through some kind of reverse-order greatest hits of fandom thing right now and I've made it back there. Anyone have any recs? Go crazy, it's delicious. Oh some lemon juice is good too, just like a quarter of a lemon.

Anyway, there is no way I am saving money or time doing these projects, but they are delicious delicious projects all the same and I know the provenance of more of my food that way and it seems healthy for both the body and soul, so YAY :)

First of all, she had the coolest outfits EVER. started off with LIGHTBEAM GLASSES and eventually she brought out a GUN GUITAR and also a GUN GLITTER EXPODEY and also a glitter skeleton suit thing? and there was a plethora of neon right at the end. OH AND AMERICA OUTFITS. AND THONGS.

2. She did sing DINOSAUR and there were dudes dressed as skeletons with WALKERS (and using them as dance props) and also a dude with a dinosaur head on. I WAS ENTHRALLED.

3. She also did "Grow a Pear" and there was a dude in a pear outfit. and then a dude in a cock & balls outfit. I pretty much discovered my new PERSONAL JESUS today. HER NAME IS KE$HA.

4. Everyone at that concert was drunk and/or stoned and/or on other things. IT WAS AMAZING. I people watched in between songs, because it was hilarious and gross all at the same time. Portland loves Ke$ha so much that we sang ALL OF TIK-TOK and WE R WHO WE R at her at the end. I had such a good time, I would like to find my way to the Seattle one. And others. <blink> WHO WANTS TO GO WTIH MEEEEEEEEEEE</blink>

5. I have already forgotten all the other cool things, for there were many

6. OH YEAH, she did the Cannibal song and basically strapped a dude to a giant wooden X and then "tore off" body parts and eventually his heart that she proceeded to eat and smear "blood" all over her face with, leaving behind his skeleton.

Seriously, if I hadn't already read about how she is kind of gross and will puke in your closet, I'd marry this bitch. She is my heerrrooooo.

THAT DAY IS TODAY, MY FRIENDS AND ENEMIES AND FRENEMIES

Today my friend Lou and I made Battlestar Galactica (BSG) t-shirts. IN ALL SERIOUSNESS.

Granted, they are technically only half done, because we have to wait for the paint to dry, but then! OH HO THEN. SOON THESE MASTERPIECES SHALL BE COMPLETE. and then we will wear them while we watch BSG (today I gently cuddled mine while watching BSG instead, as I waited for the paint to dry).

Oh my God, no one even cares, but I almost started describing them LOVINGLY to all of you. Okay, I'm going to hold back most of what I want to say, except that you should all know it has "FRAK CYLONS" across the front bottom and then "SO SAY WE ALL" on the back bottom.

Also there are plans in the works for matching panties. The ass part will say "OH MY GODS"

WHAT IS LIFE

WHAT IS *MY* LIFE

WHY AM I MOSTLY JUST THRILLED INSTEAD OF EMBARRASSED ABOUT THIS

WHY DID I INSIST ON PAINTING THE PRESIDENT'S SYMBOL JUST SO I CAN WEAR THIS STUPID SHIRT WHEN I PLAY THE BOARD GAME IN THE FUTURE AND THUS GIVE MYSELF AN EXCUSE TO DEMAND THE PRESIDENCY AT ALL TIMES?????

so, ultimately, today is the day I have given up any attempt at normalcy in any respect of the word and I just embrace the fact that I'm probably going to die WEARING THIS SHIRT AND PANTY SET, and seriously, if I don't die in that attire, I am making my wishes known now: bury me in it. Actually since I am going to be buried in pieces, PUT ME IN THE OUTFIT AND THEN CHOP ME IN PIECES (POSTMORTEM, YA'LL, NOT PRE) IT'S COOL.

So I went to the Portland Cello Project concert back in December with greensounds, but we went up to Seattle's Triple Door to see them, instead of in Portland, just because of timing issues. They played Kanye West's All of the Lights there, but they also played it at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, and here is that performance (IT IS BADASS, AS THEY ALWAYS ARE BITCHEEESSSSSS):

And then I was reading my flist for the first time in what feels like a billion years and xenokattz had this lovely rendition of "Smooth Criminal" as played by cellists up (and as she pointed out, these bros looks like Dean Winchester vs. Remy LeBeau... or the rich man's Sam Winchester, if you prefer, or IDK, Edward Cullen vs. a dude? WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU.)

<lj-embed id="125" />

Oh and also!!!

More PCP, only with one of my favorite local groups, Typhoon, who is "up-and-coming" top 10 according to amazon or some shit... I heard that somewhere anyway.
