this is the psd! i know it doesn't really look fancy or anything but it's good if you wanna color something green.

and with the right lightning textures it looks even prettier. also it might go well with the gifs?? haven't tried since i don't make
but.. i tried this with some caps, from other movies and shows. (hannibal, pll etc.) they looked well with them. as soon as you don't use it
with dark caps it will look good. but if you use it on dark caps add some more curves layer. that's all. enjoy:)

it has been agES since i last made some icons and i didn't use photoshop to do something challenging. so i literally forgot hOW TO ICON.

so these things look absolutely look hideous but i'm gonna work on doing better when i'm -offically- off school.

well, i have been making icons for a long long time. but since there was lots of school stuff like exams i have been dealing, i couldn't post it and there was really few. so i made a couple of more icons. and there is a OUAT psd. i just loved how it looks and wanted to share. and since i'm done for school for now and came back from my holiday, i hope i will be able to post more icons. (i'm not sure at this moment 'cause we might move to an another house, so, when i'm dealing with that shit i wouldn't be allowed to make any which is totally sucks.) anyway, that's all for now! feel free to use any of them if you like but please do not hotlink and forget to credit. bye :)

negative space tutorial

I'm not sure if It's negative space tutorial. Cos it's kinda different i think, I kept the backround, idk. A friend of mine asked me to make a tutorial about it. So.. :')

Firstly, add your coloring. Choose a color which will suits when you changed the backround's color. I chose this:

Now fill a new layer and paint it with #ff9921. And set this layer to screen. If you want, you can use this layer Normal. But usually i use set this layer to screen. 'Cause it looks more natural. Then choose a soft brush and erase everything but focal point. I kept the backround, I didn't erased or something like that. It was unnecessary for this picture. So It was easy to remove unwanted parts.

When you finished the erasing part, probably it will be look like this:

It looks pretty normal/natural right now but if you want to make this more blurred you can try this: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur or Filter > Blur > Motion Blur.

Than I used this texture to make this more natural. Set layer to soft light:

Now there are shadows and It looks brighter. I think It's not too much but It looks more natural right now. And then I added this (screen):

You can add textures for changing colors. I added this and It looks more blue and kinda pale than before. I usually prefer darker tones, so I will change it a little bit. Now, go back to first layer. And use Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen. If you want you can make this sharpness less; Edit > Fade Sharpen. (I usually don't touch my first layer. 'Cause sometimes my icon doesn't looks the way that I wanted. So I wanna change it, but when first layer was damaged, I couldn't. So, you better dublicate layer. But now I'm nearly done with that so i won't..)

Then select all layers and click right, and choose Merge Layers. Dublicate that layer and select it.

Then, Filter > Dissort > Diffuse Glow. Set layer to soft light, %100.

And you should blur it, so you should go like this: Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. Then change its mode to soft light. It will be look like:

You can play with its opacity to make it less bright. I didn't 'cause I wanted to take away the blue tones. So now It looks very bright. But here some other examples:
