The format is part of the reason why I like them. Especially since it makes recommending stuff easier when you can just post a image. Plus it helps reinforcing stuff that forms a common "taste" for a group over just vague feelings that exist. Hell maybe the death of charts is the decline of that kind of group bullying for taste along with the lack of effort people try to do.

 No.1489

>>1486

One kind you could try is to make a chart after every season, then put 4 of them together and you have all the anime you'd recommend from a given year. Of course, it might be even better if it has input from multiple anons, so you could make a dedicated thread where we all come together and share our thoughts about everything we watched during that season.

Would Shigofumi be considered /x/?

>>1473

This chart has very little effort put into it. Almost every entry is well known and drawn after 2000. There are quality baseline errors too. Why would Helck, which the creator describes as "acceptable," be considered "worthwhile"? The creator should have titled it "/a/ essentials" or something similar instead of splitting focus.

I'm trying to find a doujin that I used to read all the time on nhentai. From what I remember the MC is reviewing bottled succubi saliva and ends up ordering two succubi to fuck, one girl is white the other is brown both with huge breasts, a heavy emphasis on licking and spit. I also remember that in the squeal/side story the MC delivers pizza(?) to a bunch of succubi and gets gangbanged. If anyone knows what I'm talking about I would greatly appreciate sauce.

What are some romance manga/anime with actual loli on it?

I was reading some Itou Hachi doujins and honestly, I'm hooked. It has romance but the loli isn't "aged up" at all, in the sense that they don't act older than they actually are.

Doesn't have to be yuri. Potentially doesn't have to be loli either, shota works.

Does the panda archive keep translated manga in other languages than english ?

A very nice hentai from Nylon was translated in french recently but got banned from the panda. I can only find the raw version in the archive, Am I retarded or does it only keep english translations ?

 No.1321

I never noticed but it does seem to be eng/jap only. From their about:

>Only English and RAW (Japanese). Mainly magazines, doujinshi, anthologies, CG sets. Not for cosplay, JAV, or other stuff.

I'm bored, I want anime with fighting scenes that are

- Well Animated

- Don't have too many cuts

EX: No stopping to have a flashback, talking about the character's past, or just explaining their own combat moves way too much

Pic very related, Precure is good at this.

I'm not really the best judge of animation, and a lot is hazed by memory of watching things years and years ago, but I'll give this a shot.

Giant robot/mecha anime I'm aware of other than Gundam with pretty good animation would be Giant Gorg, Macross Plus, King Gainer, Giant Robo, the Getter Robo and Mazinkaiser OVAs, Escaflowne (not as action-oriented as anon may want though), Crusher Joe, as well as usually at least one impressive sequence in most old mecha OVAs such as Dangaioh, Iczer, Black Magic M-66, Patlabor, Gunbuster, etc. Other old OVAs/Movies that served as animator showcases like Birth or Project A-ko may also be of interest to you. You've probably already seen stuff like Akira/GitS/Jin-Roh and maybe even stuff slightly more obscure like Genma Taisen or Venus Wars.

You mentioned Precure already, and while I imagine you've seen them already you definitely should watch Precure Allstars movies (and to a slightly lesser extent the solo season movies) if you haven't already, these usually have some very good sequences, especially the earlier ones.

If you don't mind somewhat more grounded/realistic works, you could also look into some historical/samurai-type stuff like Sword of the Stranger, Ninja Scroll, Tsukikage Ran or the like. There's also a couple fairly well-made movies/OVAs based on fighting games such as Fatal Fury or the Street Fighter II movie. Other somewhat more grounded works I recall as having a lot of good fight choreography or animation in their run would be Hajime no Ippo or maybe Seirei no Moribito.

Also don't know how anon feels about more recent anime or more 'typical' battle shounen, but Dai no Daibouken recently had even more of Toei's animation resources than Precure poured into it and has good action scenes in pretty much every arc (in fact, some of the best animators who had worked on Precure action scenes, like Shida, did a lot for this show). It does relatively less of what you complain about in your opening post for itsPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Look at old anime.

To name a few, Birdy the Mighty, The Big O, Battle Doll Angelic Layer, Grenadier: The Beautiful Warrior, Bubblegum Warrior, Highlander: The Search for Vengeance.

There's also anime for fighting games like Street Fighter or Darkstalkers out there which might be interesting.

Also, Sakugabooru is a site that collects sakuga and has a tag specifically for combat.

See subject. I have the vague memory of a battle harem anime featuring arenas, dragon riding, a harem of girls with different color hairs, that wore white uniforms. A specific heroine that stuck with me had bright red hair and was a tsundere of some kind.

The plot started generic, but was focused on heroics, becoming stronger. With the ending being very intense and moving me emotionally.

I (re)watched the following:

>Seireitsukai No Blade Dance

>Rakudashi Kishi No Chivalry

Because they had brightly red haired heroines.

Also

>Seikoku No Dragonar

Because it had dragon riding.

None of these were the show I remembered. Despite being very entertaining in their own right.

If you know what I am talking about, I would be very thankful for the help in my search. Feel free to mention shows that are even remotely related. As I might be mixing up several different battle harem arena shows in my head. I will certainly watch whatever is mentioned, if nothing else because I'm going through a battle harem phase.

There's also a possibility, that my memory is faulty, and I imagined 90% of this. In which case, I apologize for making this thread.

Do you remember the tech level and magic of the setting? E.g. was it a pseudo 20th century high school setting with some dragons thrown in, or a full blown ”medieval” fantasy? Also, do you have a range of years when you might have watched it, and if you watched it as aired?

 No.1755

>>1754

I watched it a year or more after it aired. Somewhere towards 2016-2020-something. The tech level is hard to pinpoint, as it was "magifantasy", which could be anywhere. I clearly remember dragon riding, or riding something, being a theme. But that might be the memory of Dragonar leaking in.

Several years ago, I stumbled upon an exceptionally beautiful yet little-known art series titled Canterlot Royal Ballet Academy. While ostensibly a fan work of My Little Pony, its uniqueness struck me as so profound that it felt almost entirely original - save for the character names. As the title suggests, the story follows the lives of anthropomorphic ponies attending a ballet academy.

I can't quite pinpoint why, but this work radiates a surreal, otherworldly aura - a uniquely captivating atmosphere unlike anything I'd encountered before. That first encounter left me immersed in its surreal experience for an entire day. When I stumbled upon it late at night, it felt eerie at first, but that sense of dissonance quickly dissolved into pure admiration. I fell into a beautiful trance, utterly captivated. I experienced an indescribable surreal, ethereal sensory journey, while also catching whiffs of a sweet, phantom scent.

The next morning, I thought it had been nothing but a dream, yet I was delighted to discover it was all real. Throughout the rest of that day, the sensation intensified, leaving me in a perpetual state of waking reverie, only ending when dusk eventually washed it away. Strangest of all, once that feeling faded, I could recall nothing of the day's events - only that serene, eternal sense of serendipitous bliss remained.

Whenever I gaze upon it, a peculiar feeling arises - as if it were something that shouldn't exist in reality, something unimaginable. Like a fragment of some magical dream miraculously transplanted into reality. Without any backstory, I could fully envision the entire series as if it truly existed. This wasn't a story I'd invented; it felt as though the sensation itself contained an inherent narrative thread. I can vividly picture the dreamlike fragmentation, imbued with a fleeting innocence. I can even precisely imagine how each character's voice should sound - those otherworldly tones seem to transcend time and space, originating nowhere in particular yet carrying an intensely intimate quality.

My fascination with CRBA has never waned over the years. I scoured the internet for every trace of it, only to discover how remarkably obscure it remains - a fact thatPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

What are some romance (yuri counts) anime/manga/VNs where the MC's lover ends up dying (or the MC dies and the perspective switches to the lover)? I don't want something where the MC just easily moves on and finds another partner.

Clannad is a notable example. I haven't read/watched it, but I've heard Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso has that too. Happy Sugar Life (yuri) is kind of like that but it's not a normal kind of romance story.

You might think it's dumb that I would ask something so spoilery which will "ruin" the story for me before I even start reading/watching, but I personally don't care about spoilers because I believe that a good Story is more than just a set of contrived novelties that can get "ruined" by foreknowing.

In Grisaia there is an epilogue that flashforwards to the lovers dying of old age, one of them already dead at the time, it's fairly short though. Steins;Gate has a bunch of temporary deaths.

Are there good anime or manga about military and/or spec ops that's somewhat grounded in realism? I don't care if mechs and fantasy are in it so long as it's not center-stage or takes up the central plot. Stuff about foot soldiers and combined arms with detail to equipment.
