Pros:
1) it can play almost all video and audio formats including .tmp.
2) it has an in-built YouTube browser and download manager.
3) it is easy to use.
4) it provides mouse controlled volume support.
5) it provides screenshot facility.
Just too good man, it can play any video or audio format (some of them are not accepted even by VLC) and the main thing is that it has a YouTube downloader which is far more better than any paid or shareware software.
And it is FREE.
GUI for MPlayer and a phantastic alternative to more known players like... well, *you* know the names better known to you, so fill in the blanks. I found SMPlayer sometimes plays video files all other players, incl Potplayer, GOM Player and VLC couldn't play without installing extra codecs and perhaps some tweaks. Has some very neat special features not found in other players too. No space and time to go into details but this is an interesting, fully featured but unique and easy to use player that's developed very proactively and definitely worth checking out.
