This Is Why The US Loses Wars.

With "military historians" like these who are not acquainted with basic math (forget about modelling and operations) and what reliability of data is, you get these numbers: 1 to 7.

He is a down right idiot--a "moron with Ph.D"--who spews amateurish crap about WW II, but that's what you get when you are a credentialed humanities brainwashed ideologue. He cannot even grasp the depth of his "military history" idiocy because his "math" is not even from grammar school. Guess what, he teaches and lectures ...

Oh, I Know Why.

 We all do.

WASHINGTON, April 2 (Reuters) - U.S. Army Chief of Staff Randy George has been asked to step down by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and take immediate retirement, two U.S. defense officials and a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday. Hegseth, a former Fox News host, has moved quickly to reshape the department, firing top generals and admirals as he seeks to implement Trump's national security agenda. The sources did not indicate why Hegseth asked George to leave his post. The move was first reported by CBS News. George, an infantry officer who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, was confirmed to the top Army post in 2023. Terms in that role usually run for four years. Prior to holding the top job, George was the vice chief of the Army and, before that, the senior military adviser to then-Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

As was correctly pointed out, Pittie is a former FOX News host with degree in death cult Scofiled Bible and with the mentality of an NCO or, at best, Platoon Commander. Pittie doesn't know what REAL operations are, and his "experience" in Afghanistan counts for nothing. Randy George, however, commanded 4th Infantry Division (remember--division is the first OPERATIONAL level formation), then he commanded I Corps before moving to high level staff positions. He graduated from USMA at West Point and Naval War College. So, Randy, probably told Hegseth that military science and operational planning in this war lead the US Army into the slaughterhouse. But Pittie is pittie and he thinks himself a great strategist because this is what is written in Scofield Bible and American boys and girls must die for Israel. So, anyone who disagrees is ... anti-Semite. OK. There are many Christian Zionist fanatics in Pentagon, so he will find the substitute in no time.

Meanwhile Russia Continues To Build ...

 ... nuclear ice-breakers.

While much is being said about Arctic Sea Route and its economic viability, what many bean counters (totally expected from people with MBA) from all kinds of "economic think-tanks" forget is that Arctic Sea Route is critical for Russia herself, international economic significance of this route notwithstanding. But same as with warfare, it is difficult to explain to average "economist" who grew up and was indoctrinated with all kinds of pseudo-economic BS such as "capitalization", stock market and futures, what national security is for such a nation as Russia, which cannot be measured in Rubles only. Mind you, Russians seldom mention costs of anything. In the West--the ONLY thing they emphasize is price. E.g. $13.5 billion aircraft carrier, $2.1 billion bomber etc. as if costs and price make it anymore combat capable.

Well, those $1 billion Patriots discredited themselves so much, that Switzerland now considers alternative systems.
Well, it is not only about delays, it is because of a humiliating "performance" by the US-made AD (and other hardware). Not that European-made Aster-family missiles and their platforms, such as SAMP-T are any better, both are failures in real war--they are the same dung as American systems, but Swiss do not have options. There is a lot to unpack in terms of military production in the West, but as we all know--most of it is about PR. But that are Swiss' problems, aren't they?

Yes, About The Address ...

... by the guy who is now both political corpse and a clown. Larry explains.

Wow! That was awful. Was Trump sedated? His monotone, delusional delivery reminded me of the character Dustin Hoffman played in Rainman. Trump plowed no new territory. Instead, he provided a Reader’s Digest summary of his recent Truth Social posts… i.e., Iran is defeated, the Iranian Navy and Air Force are destroyed, victory is ours, but we’re going to bomb the hell out of them over the next three weeks. I am pretty sure that some on Wall Street will continue to delude themselves with the belief that this war is nearing an end and, once Trump declares the final victory in three weeks that he will order US troops to come home and the war will be over. Not a chance. During the next three weeks, Iran will continue to degrade and demolish the US bases and equipment that is in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. As long as Qatar does not allow combat aircraft to take off from Al Udeid, Iran will ignore it. Prior to his speech, the market for oil futures had dropped significantly, with both WTI and BRENT falling below 100. After his speech, both surged back above 100, increasing 3.5% and 4.4% respectively. Trump’s speech failed to reassure the oil markets that the war would end anytime soon.

Again, keep in mind--all this is about paper energy (futures), which is nothing but speculation. Trump's (and the courterie of his sycophants and Zionists in administration) idea of governance is that of self-aggrandizing and enriching, serving Israel and trying to manipulate the so called "markets".

As you can see current "market"--it is not impressed.

Neither are Iranians, pummeling Bahrain and the US 5th Fleet's HQs non-stop.

Meanwhile, India gets five more S-400 batteries.

The S-400 deliveries are late, but the fifth and final system is also expected this year, perhaps in November. After the S-400’s impressive performance during Operation Sindoor, the four days of fighting with Pakistan in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack last year, India has decided to buy five more systems. The S-400 could be part of the countrywide air defence system, Sudarshan Chakra, that will be in place in coming years.

You see, those S-400, for some reason (wink, wink), do perform brilliantly in REAL combat. Who would have thought, if you know what I mean.

Meanwhile, in Russia ...

... the International Forum on Transportation and Logistics. The man himself addressed it (turn on captions).

You all know what this is all about. This thing.

And, of course, this thing.

Here is the issue, while blue and green lines are nothing more than wet dreams with zero technological capability attached to them, the red ones are actual routes and the cargo traffic increases steadily.

Fishing vessels are the most common type of ship in the Arctic, representing 40% of all ships that entered the Arctic Polar Code area. The second most common ship type is general cargo ships. Between 2013 and 2025, the ship type that saw the greatest increase in the Arctic was crude oil tankers, which saw a 396% increase over the 12 years. The second greatest increase was bulk carriers with 156% more in 2025 than in 2013. Cruise ships have also increased significantly, with 123% more cruise ships in 2025 than in 2013.

Or, as Russians report in actual numbers (million tons):

But projected numbers (in green) will grow even more, now that everyone see what the US represents. Those Russian North Sea Fleet ships and subs guarding this artery feel really good, if you know what I mean.

Since It Is Video-Heavy ...

... day today, I'll give you an example of "I told you so" and of the dawning reality on some.

While morons from Time magazine lament about their cheap plastic mall for nouveau riche riff-raff being exposed as nothing but ... expensive low-taste tinsel town, another guy suddenly (four days ago) decides to make a video:

He is grossly inaccurate drawing parallels to Venice (and people correctly pointed this out to him), but in terms of Dubai--he nailed it. I would also say that his statements about Singapore are also grossly inaccurate, well--he is a financial guy only--but in general this is a good video about people being like this proverbial girl from LZ's Stairway to Heaven for who "all that glitters is gold". So, Dubai part is good and covers a substantial portion of Gulfies' problems well.
