SlimComputer 1.0

SlimComputer is a must-have tool that allows you improve your computer's performance by detecting and deleting unneeded software, unwanted toolbars, unnecessary start-up applications and pre-installed shortcuts. The application classifies these problems by sections: application, toolbars, startup items, and shortcuts. You can select to scan all sections at the same time or select only those that you consider important. After scanning, the items found are shown separated by tabs in the scan results window. One useful thing I found is that the program shows the items' description. This feature allows you to know the function of certain item before performing the removal action. The program shows the rating of the items according to their popularity. Nevertheless, you can manually rate items and describe their software type and the reason of your rating. If you are not sure about removing certain item you can unselect it. You can open the Optimizer window to manually remove startup applications and stop unneeded services or open the Uninstaller window to manually delete unneeded software. Other useful features: you can create a USB portable version and perform scheduled scans. SlimComputer also allows you to access from a single window the most common Windows management tools, e.g. system information, services, disk defrag, system restore, hard disk management, etc.
