Yes. Sociology is considered a most scoring optional in UPSC, Toppers like Ujjwal Priyank, Medha Anand, Animesh Pradhan, Srushti Jayant Deshmukh scoring around 285 to 315 marks. On average, most candidates score in the 240 to 265 range.

2. Can I take Sociology without a humanities background?

Yes. Engineers, doctors, commerce graduates – anyone can learn Sociology and get rank. You don’t need a sociology degree for UPSC Sociology Exam.

3. Is this course enough to clear Sociology Optional?

20. How many revisions are needed before Mains?

At least 3 times. Our short notes are made for fast revision. In the last 30 days before the exam, revise – don’t start new topics.

21. What if I can’t finish the course on time?

You get full access for the course duration. If you miss a week, catch up on the weekend. We also share a study plan to keep you on track.
