I had an old friend note on myspace that I'd finally posted a picture that showed my face. I suppose I'm a little less vain, having just turned 39, and actually put some pictures together (mostly from other people's albums) and posted them over on myspace. Should anyone have forgotten what I look like:

Vanity comes into play because I hate how I look in photos, but I'm posting them anyway, because I've decided I care less.

Oooh, nice lightning strike outside, I'd thought the rain was about over.

The only other thing of note is that I'm wearing a red and black toga in many of the pictures. I wore that outfit to two Bacchanals and a Halloween party. Very comfortable, but I suppose it becomes monotonous in an album like this. Apologies.

Pushing back moving into Fayetteville until the beginning of next month - several bills came due, and more students will have vacated: The semester ends midmonth, so an apartment now would probably have been a dropouts, and so it's more likely something might be wrong with the apartment. An unfair profiling, perhaps, but my apathy is strong, dig?

Growing a beard, uncertain if I'll keep or modify it. It's not like me, but here are some semi-recent photos, stolen from Shelly - they remind me that I really need to hit the treadmill:

No pictures I'm happy with that are of me alone. So, beard or no? Goatee? Unsure.

Certain other things just now are a weight off of my shoulders. Well, my mind, really. Missing friends that I haven't seen in awhile. Packing, and taking care of details, squirreling away money.

Perhaps now that I've primed the pump, so to speak, I'll update more.

Well, that was really dreary. Usually a full moon club night is exciting, but no Margaret, no Shelly, no Leslee, and Greg wasn't in until later. He was about as down as I was (and I suppose still am). Everyone seemed subdued, with a couple of notable exceptions. Definitely not enough to lift this funk. (Any of those first three, and usually greg, could normally do it, thus my looking forward to tonight.)

Oh well. I'm actually home before 5 or 6. Hell, I left at 1:15. I suppose I'll curl up in a blanket and hope it starts raining again. Good night, all.

I have three profs who are willing to write letters of recommendation for me (to their own institution, even, so it's not like they're tyring to get rid of me. :-) )

Strange dreams, like stories, sometimes in third person, someone who is me but sometimes doesn't look it - curly hair, thinner.. Odd storylike jumps - How did we end up in jail? I suppose it's just that some effects look better in third. No captions, thankfully, none since I was little.

Unfocussed, but time to force myself to do so. Head full of leaves, I don't want to be a scarecrow. Time to see what's become of me...

I usually never post pictures, but I do love my friends, so this is from a party saturday - the picture is a bit larger than I expected, so I'll put it behind a cut... Travel safely, mike. I may be a little tipsy here - I had a wine glass with a nice Reisling (spelling?) in it most of the evening, went well with the black lights, a glowing glass :-)
